As I'm walking outside the patio , I still see no one , except a guy with crazy blue hair with skinny jeans with a black shirt ,holding a 12 pack of eggs on his hands . Of course it's Michael . Michael always prank on the first day of school . Michael and I have been friends since the 3rd grade , that's most likely he like my big brother to me . He one of the most wildest people I have met .
" Hey Cassie , another year of high school haha , " as he holds the eggs on his hands and comes to me to give him a hug and he notice that I have coffee on my shirt
" You already got prank , but first period hasn't even started ! Who did this so I can throw them this ! " as he telling me , he pulls one egg out of the package .
" Haha , no one actually a teacher did this by accident , He's a new teacher this year , I guess he was nervous , he seems nice and very young actually , "
" Okay show me him then , so I can throw at him , " as he teases , I stare at him with wide open eyes
" Haha , I'm joking cassi , anyway you need a shirt , I have a clean shirt in my car , you can use it if you want ? ,"
" Yes please , I can't find Gladys no where , and I'm kinda getting mad ,"
" Oh I just saw her leave with John , just a second ago , she told me that she will be back , " GREAT . She left the first day of school , good thing I don't got classes with her so i don't have to cover for her .
" Great that's amazing , I just hope she comes early , " like that will happen .
" Haha like that will ever happen , come on let's get your new shirt from Macy's , " As he teases , he grabs my hand .
He let's go of my hand and we start walking to the parking lot . When we start walking to the parking lot , we hear the bell ring . Shit , we are late already . Michael starts to laugh and smiles to me with no worries on his hands .
"Don't worry , little Cassi , I got passes , don't worry . OKAY " he tease to me and I gave him a fake smile , I mean we are late because of me so I laugh alittle . I'm not surprise that he got passes to class . He used come late everyday of last school year . He will never show up to class .
We get to his black jeep , and I wait for him , sitting on the car nexts to his .
" Here I don't know if this will fit , it's fits me really tight . I was going to throw that away this morning actually , good thing I forgot haha , " When Michael hands me the shirt , of course the shirt is black and it's loose t-shirt . He always wear those types of shirts .
" No it's fine , it will probably fix me loose , can we go I don't want to be late the first day , " He smiles and nods to me , he pulls out a package of cards , and closes the door .
" So how was your summer , darling Cassi , " he tells me while he locks his car .
" It was okay I guess , yours ? " God how I'm starting the hate that questions .
" Ehh same old same old , nothing much , all I did is hang out with some friends , watch Netflix and sleep and oh yea eat tacobell , " That's sounds like the Michael I known for years , I smile and he starts writing on the card behind of his car , and hands me the card . The card was the late pass .
" Here goes there live saver ma'm , " As he teases ,
" Haha I love you , thanks again , for everything , "
He nods and we walk back to the school and we see that's it's late and it's empty , no one was at the front office . As Michael notices that there nobody at the front office , Michael grabs my hand , and we start running .
" Okay I think it's time to go to class ma'm , before you go late , " He winks and he turns left , I waved at him and I stand in the middle of the hallway , holding the late pass that Michael gave me , and the shirt . I start going to the bathroom , and I changed to the shirt that Michael gave me , I look at myself at the mirror while I'm fixing the shirt . I was wondering what class I have , and i remember that I left my schedule in my inside of my locker . I go straight to my locker and get my schedule . I over look at my schedule and I realize that my first class is 218. 218 is the class that the teacher spill on me . Will I at least I don't have to use my late pass for this one .
I go make my way to 218 and I see him standing there not saying a word . I guess he hasn't started yet . The door is locked , and I knock , he looks at me and he smiles at me . God he is really cute with his blue eyes, he walks towards the door and he opens it .
He sticks his head out and says
" You couldn't find a extra shirt ? " as he teases .
" Actually I got a shirt but I have your class haha ," He smiles when I told him that I had his class . He opens more the door and let's me in . I see no familiar faces and I realize that I don't even know a single soul in this class . I look at my schedule again and it's says under English 12 . God the last thing I needed , that put ap without me asking .
I look at the teacher and I told him ," uh i think there is a mistake I didn't put AP English , at all . " As I told him with a panic and shock face .
" Yea I know , lots of the students didn't pick Ap English , all the students here mostly got pick for this course and I guessing your one of them , if you have any problems you can go to the office if you want , I understand if you don't want to take this of course , but if you stay I try to make it easy for all of you guys and you . " I nodded and i decided to stay , and give a shot . I go make my way to get a seat , as I notice that I don't know anybody .
" Okay class I'm sorry, that I haven't started at all , let's start with my name . My name is Mr. Martin , as in Jacob Martin , and I will be your Ap English Literature teacher . " Mr. Martin seems really cool and fun , I like him .
Mr.Martin was talking about the thins we will be learning this semester and it's looks kinda easy to be honest . He mostly goof around and made everybody laugh , but he also mention that if we don't try hard enough that he will take us out of his class and drop the class and that he really wanted us to pass .
After he was done , I check my phone to see if I got any texts from Gladys and I see nothing but I did a text from Michael saying
*** hey I'm going to skip my next class , and idk if you want to come , some of our friends are going , wanna come ? ***
I stare at my phone and I locked my screen . I actually don't want to go to my next class at all actually or school . I mean Mr. Martin lighten my mood up but I look at my schedule and I realize that I have Pre-Calculus and I don't even want to get started with the subject math at the first day of school so I texted Michael saying ,
***" Ehh sure , where do I meet you at ? " ***
I don't even know who of our "friends" are going , but I just want to get out of school , right now .
*** Meet me by the car ,, When the bell rings , I will be waiting for you , ***
We still got 3 more minutes till the bell rings , I waited and texted Gladys , asking where is she , and like my lovely bestfriend , she didn't answered . As the bell rings I walk out of the class and I drink some water , debating either I shall leave school or stay. But I said to myself "unexpected plans are the best memories " , so I starting walking out school and went straight to the parking lot and go where Michael car is .
As I make my way to Michael car , he was already standing there with his keys on his pocket .
" Ready " I nodded at him , I mean where can we go at this time at 10:30 a.m .
I get in his black jeep , for the person like Michael , that I known for years , his car is clean for the first time , he was always so sloppy .
" We are going to have adventure , are you ready Cassie Logan ! " as he says with a commercial voice and in a funny way ,
" Yes Michael , Take me away ! " as I tease . My phone vibrates and it's a text from Gladys saying
*** I'm here with John with some of our friends at Walmart , haha it's fun "
