in the Beginning

Prologue

Y/n pov:

???:y/n! Come over here!

A sweet and calm voice told you, you got up from your bed and ran out of your room.

Y/n:comeing!

You finally entered the kitchen to see your family, your younger sister s/n and your parents. You had spent most of your life in (state name) until your parents started to run low on money, after that they decided that raccoon city was your best bet. Your still a child and have a long way to go before you can call this city "home" but you figured that it would still be fine nonetheless. (A/n your 2 years older than sherry, kinda forgot to mention that.)

S/n:took ya long enough!

Y/n:i was busy!

Dad:doing what?

Y/n:umm...stuff.

Mom:we know your glued to those games its fine to just admit it.

Y/n:ok 1 i am not GLUED and 2...i might have spent a little to long in there.

Your dad simply sighed and smirked.

Dad:just sit down.

Timeskip

After breakfast it was a relitively quiet morning, not much was going on and you were getting ready for school but after you were done putting a spare shirt on, you here the tv on in the next room.

Y/n:must've forgotten to turn it off...

You walk in the room and see that the news is on and your parents still watching with concerned looks but still havent noticed you yet, you listen closely to the woman on tv.

Woman:the viris has now comepleatly spread through half the city and officials are now saying that its been quarantined and containd, yet people say that they've been getting sick all across the city. We recommend that you stay indoors amd take shelter, not going outside unless compleatly necessary-

Dad:y/n!

You jumped at the sound of your father.

Dad:what are you doing?

You took a quick glance at the tv and saw that there where pictures of these...things and cars, buildings...and even people unfire.

Y/n:i-i was ready for school so i...came in here.

Your parents looked at the tv and quickly turned it off then back to you.

Mom:hey dont worry, its far away from where were at.

Dad:but if it gets to close were going to have to leave.

Your mother elbowed your dad.

Mom:go ahead and start walking to school honey.

Y/n:o-ok.

You walked towards the door and turned to your parents.

Y/n:i love you guys.

Mom:you to.

Dad:more than you could ever know.

Dad pov:

And with that y/n walked out the door, he was old enough to walk by himself and the school was only a few blocks away. He looked over to see his wife stareing at him furious.

Dad:what? Hes prepared for this! You know ive been training him since i first herd about this out break!
