You had finally found refuge, unfortunately for you it wasn't the kind of refuge you were looking for. The military almost immediately split you, sherry, Leon and Claire up. Sending all of you in different directions, just before the guard turned her around you saw sherry slip through his arms and run over to hug you.
Guard:hey!
Sherry:I don't wanna go! j-just let me go with you!
Y/n:sherry-
Sherry:maybe we can talk to them! Or maybe convince them to-
Y/n:sherry! Look at me. Hey! Look at me.
You broke out of the hug and gently grabbed her by the shoulders to try and calm her down.
Y/n:these people are gonna take care of you ok? There gonna make sure your safe, and healthy and-
Sherry:I don't wanna go with them!
Y/n:you have to!!!
You realized Your yelling shook her a bit so you started to lower your voice.
Y/n:listen...these people are gonna give you a good life, a great life! You can live to be whoever you want to be once your done with them!

Sherry:but...
She looked down
Sherry:I wanna be with you...and Claire and Leon....
You sighed, the guard walked up behind you.
Guard:common...let's go
You put your hand up
Y/n:one last thing.
You looked back at sherry with a small smile.
Y/n:then I promise...I swear I'll see you again.
She tilted her head up looking directly into your eyes.
Sherry:you swear?
Y/n:I swear. maybe not today...maybe not tomorrow but i WILL see you again you hear me? Just promise me you'll do whatever they say.
She slowly nodded.
Sherry:ok...
She hugged you one more time, but this time slipped something into your hand and the guards finally pulled her away.
Y/n:I'll see you-
But the guards had already birth her through the door.
Y/n:soon...
Another Guard grabbed your shoulder.
Guard:common kid let's go, you got to say goodbye.
He pulled you along through a series of hallways, as he did you looked at the object sherry gave you...what? It was her locket but...her picture in it was ripped, her parents were out of it she must've taken the pictures of them with her. Hell now there was only a picture of...her.

You found another note on the other side, it looked scribbled and rushed but you could still read it.
"Please don't forget me"
How the heck did she manage to scribble that down so fast? At least you had something to remember her by now. It even made you chuckle a bit.
Y/n:never...
Guard:hm?
Y/n:NOTHING!
You hid it in your pocket and continued to follow the guard.
Timeskip
The guard sat you down in a small dark room with 1 table and two chairs. A man eventually walked in and sat across from you and Opened a file, and spoke very quickly.
James:my name is agent James David and as far as I know your one of the only people that made it out of raccoon alive-
Y/n:not true, 3 others made it out.
He sighed
James:ok smartass only group, we also know that you were gaining the trust of a certain individual... sherry Birkin. What did she say to you? Anything important? Anything that involved formulas or maybe some sort of codes?
Y/n:you sitting here interrogating a kid for answers? Really?? Has the government sunk that low?
James:I'm willing to do what's necessary to get answers...by force if needed.
Y/n:yah ok-
James:try me.
You stayed silent looking directly at him with a frown on your face.
James:choose your next words VERY carefully mr. l/n.
Y/n:you can't hurt a kid the press will find out.
James:I doubt that...all I want is the truth. And your going to tell me.
Y/n:What's going to happen to sherry?
James:you tell me what I want and I'll tell you what you want...
Again you stared at him with a frown silently thinking.
A/n alright readers it's just me and you, yep this is gonna be one of the only times I'm gonna walk you through this so listen up! From now on your going to come across choices in chapters. Some may have multiple choices, others might only have one but they are ALL very important choices EVEN the ones that seem so small. Why? These shape you, build you into either a guardian...or a monster. And it all starts here...I'm going to tell you the choices and how many points they are worth, most of them are probably only gonna be worth like 10 but some might be worth 20, 25 or even 30 so watch out. Im going to keep adding up these points as you keep going through the story and At the VERY END Im going to add them all up. There's gonna be two endings to this story, the guardian ending...and the monster ending. If you have more guardian points it's gonna be the guardian ending and if you've got more monster points then it's gonna be the monster ending. Which ever one it is...is completely up to you and the other people reading this. You might have to talk with them if they make a choice you don't agree with and you might have to listen to them if YOUR making the wrong choice and they're trying to explain it to you. These choices might seem simple, that its OBVIOUS just to pick the guardian choices but...common, I know that deep down there...there's a bit of evil, a bit of hate or jealousy, so let me ask you reader...Is the monster in you? Are you the monster? if not well...How far are you willing to go to be the hero? And who and what are you willing to sacrifice? Let's find out...
