“Blane are you sure..” Ann whispered
“Ann don’t make me have second thoughts.” Blane laughed.
“I was just making sure you really wanted to go through with this..” Ann grabbed his hand and ran her thumb over the back of it. “I don’t want to see you get hurt again..”
Blane sighed, pulling Ann into his chest.
“I will be okay as long as you are here Ann.” Blane whispered.
“Okay..” Ann mumbled.
“Okay.” Blane replied softly.
Ann smacked his chest and laughed.
“Let’s do this babe.” Ann smiled.
Blane gave her a cheeky smile, the elevator jolted to a stop and dinged, indicating they were at the top floor. Blane breathed out and straightened his back.
“Go get em’ boy.” Ann said while smacking his arse.
Blane yelped as Ann gave him a wink.
“Blane!” Ryan said while standing. She walked over and gave him a hug. “I thought I was never going to see you again since that day.” She whispered softly.
“I always come back.” Blane smiled and Ryan returned that smile. Blane looked at the door and Ryan followed his eyes.
“Go in, she isn’t there. He is just replying emails right now.”
Blane weakly smiled at her and wearily started to walk towards the door. He looked up at the name plate and his heart started pumping harder and harder the longer he stared.
He knocked softly, and he heard that voice that made his body shiver.
“Come in.”
Blane twisted the doorknob, and saw him in all his perfection.
Arron’s eyes traveled from his computer screen to the person that stood in the doorway. His body froze, and he just stared at the man that did so much damage to him.
“Blane..” Arron whispered.
Blane shut the door softly and stood in front of it. He walked forward until he stood in front of his desk.
“I need to tell you something..” Blane whispered.
Arron’s heart sped up as he looked at the fine young man. He felt his body go forward, he yearned to touch that creamy skin. He stopped himself and leaned back into his chair.
“Go ahead.” Arron said in his best voice. He knew it cracked though. He cleared his throat as Blane just stood there. Arron watched as he opened and closed his mouth as he tried to think of what to say.”
“I-“ Blane started. He choked on his voice as he felt tears swell in his blue eyes. “I’m sorry I-“ Blane couldn’t let out another word before a sob came out.
Arron looked at the man that he loved in front of him cry. He was frozen. Did Blane love him still?
“I’m so sorry..” Blane turned around on his heel and cried as he went for the door.
‘Stupid stupid STUPID!’ Blane chanted in his head. ‘I can’t do this!’
Blane felt a hand on his arm tug him back. His face was met with a hard broad chest.
“Don’t go.” He heard.
Blane’s heart started to break and heal at the same time. He wanted to kiss him. He wanted to jump on his body and never let go. But most of all, he wanted to tell him how much he loved Arron.
