“I can open the door myself.” Blane said as Arron opened his truck door for him.

“No can do, a gentleman must always open the door for his passengers.” Arron smiled cheekily at Blane.

Blane scowled as his heart rate picked up. He went into the truck and put on the seatbelt. The truck roared to life and they drove out of the company’s parking lot.

Arron looked over at Blane’s hand that was on the armrest of the chair, he wanted to grab it, but he knew that Blane wouldn’t accept it. But then again, Arron didn’t care.

Arron’s hand slipped over Blane’s, and the gesture made Blane snap his head at the clasped hands.

“Arr-“ Blane started.

“Don’t. Please just let this pass.” Arron whispered painfully.

Blane whimpered softly, as he started at the man by his side. He looked at every feature on his body. His hair, eyes, lips, nose, cheeks, and jaw. Blane just couldn’t stop staring. No matter how much he wanted to rip his eyes away, it just wouldn’t happen. At least not anytime soon.

Blane’s heart sped up when Arron’s eyes met his. Arron was the first to look away. Blane felt pain hit his body. He looked out the window to stop him from looking at Arron again.

Blane felt Arron squeeze his hand. Blane eyes traveled back to Arron’s face. His eyes fell on his lips, and out of habit he licked his own.

Arron held his breath, as he watched Blane’s tongue slip over his lips. Oh how he wished to kiss those plump lips. Arron looked back at the road, realizing that they were already at his home.

Arron jumped out of the car and practically ran to the other side of the truck. He opened the door before Blane could. Blane looked up and glared as he got out.

“No thank you?” Arron smiled.

“Nope.” Blane replied.

Blane knew he was being cold, but he couldn’t show his feelings for him. He didn’t want to hurt Arron or to give himself pain. He knew that he couldn’t explain how his heart raced every time he saw Arron’s name. He just couldn’t ruin his current relationship for his own desires.

He had to think about others. He had to think about what Arron wanted. He had to think of other’s happiness first.

He had too.

Arron opened the front door and stepped aside so Blane could go in first. Blane walked in slowly and looked around the room.

“Nothing has changed.” Blane whispered to himself.

He walked over to the couch and sat down right in the middle. He ran his hand over the leather coating and smiled softly. He looked around the living room and memories flew into his mind.

“Here..” Arron said.

He held a medium sized cat in his hands. He was currently sleeping, but once handed to Blane, he woke up. He meowed at Blane. Blane smiled and took the cat out of Arron’s hands. His thumb brushed against Arron’s palm and both men shuddered at the contact.

Mittens pawed at Blane’s chest and purred as he rubbed his head against it. Blane smiled down at the adorable cat in his arms and softly rubbed his back. Mittens purred louder.

Arron smiled at the view and sat down next to Blane. Their shoulders were touching and Blane fidgeted every second.

“Must you sit that close to me?” Blane whispered.
