Blane looked at his phone screen yet again, hoping that his name would be written across the screen, but of course it wasn't. Blane sighed and slouched in his chair as his teacher continued to lecture on and on and on, Blane thought that his ears would bleed of boredom soon. He sighed yet again before siting back up and placing his hands on his laptop's keyboarding, typing notes and his teach continued.
Blane's class finally ended and he popped into his car, driving back home to finish his unattended work. He heard his phone buzz and his heart fluttered as he quickly reached over to grab his phone, making his other hand follow this gesture and swerve into the next lane.
Blane's ears where filled with the annoying sound of the car's honk and he straightened up his driving.
Blane cursed and hit his steering wheel, chanting the word stupid as he continued his drive home.
He pulled into the driveway and faster than ever before checked his phone.
He frowned as he saw that it was just from his classmate asking about assignments.
"I almost killed myself in the damned road for this gay as text." Blane said to himself.
Blane had enough of waiting after a very long couple of days and decided to text Arron himself.
- Can we get together tonight?
Blane got out of his car and before he could close the door his phone rung.
- Of course, I'll pick you up at 8. Wearing something fancy.
Blane smiled, his chest warming as his eyes reread the text over and over. He shook his head and mentally scolded himself. He quickly got inside and started to finish his work so his night could be somewhat worry free.
8 rolled around quick than Blane thought. His eyes looked up from his textbook and saw that his clock read 7:30.
"SHITTTTTTTT!" Blane screamed as he launched his book across the room. He scrambled around, trying to find the needed items to get ready in such a short time.
Blane's door flew open and a very frightened Ann stood in the doorway.
"What's wrong!? I heard you scream." Ann breathed. She walked forward, seeing that Blane was in tact.
"Arron. Date. 27 minutes to get ready. Help."
Ann grinned as she pushed Blane into the bathroom.
"Shower, I'll get the clothes ready." Ann shut the door behind Blane and he blew out the breath that he didn't know he was holding.
Blane quickly showered and stepped out into his room, seeing a black and white tuxedo laid out of his bed along with another outfit, consisting of a black button down, white tie and black slacks.
A post it note was attached to the tie, reading:
Had to run, didn't know if it was fancy or casual, casual outfit is hanging on your door. Good luck slut ;)
- Ann
Blane laughed at the last remark, his heart weighing heavy as he knew he couldn't do much with Arron because of his girlfriend.
Blane slipped on the second outfit and grabbed his somewhat dorky frames from his stand. He gelled his hair back and look at his reflection. He laughed as he look like the typical "fabulous" gay boy with the glasses and perfectly jelled back hair.
He grabbed his rolex watch that Ann got him for his birthday and his phone while walking out the door.
Blane gazed out the window and saw the all too familiar black truck outside his house. Blane walked out of his house with all the confidence he could muster and got into the truck.
