Once in a lifetime

Chapter 5

Alyssa's POV:

It was Lunch time and I dragged Kendall to the hallway to talk about after school

"are you really going to fight Jake?"

"Ya he needs to learn a lesson he treated you like shit from what i heard"

"Kendall I dont want you to get hurt"

"i wont trust me"

"im going to skip my drivers test to make sure"

"NO go to your drivers test Dustin will be with me so if anything happens he has my back"

"fine just be carefull"

he hugged me and kissed me on the cheek and we went to go get lunch I've been looking for Jake to try to talk him out of it. The bell rang for the next class and i couldn't focus at all because of Kendall and my drivers test. The teacher called on me to answer a question that I didnt hear so I just sat there thinking so he would call on a different person and he did. After that period I went straight to my locker to spend time with Kendall. It was the last period the bell was just about to ring for school to be over with when it did Kendall said to meet him by his car so once I got there I told him to kick Jakes ass and to be safe and all Kendall said was ok. We hugged for a long time, it was one of those really tight but soft hugs. Then Kendall told me to do good on my Drivers Test and i told him be safe.

I got to the Place where i take the drivers test so i filled out the paperwork and I sat down to calm down and im tryng to forget about Kendall and Dustin. The person who is going to be in the car with me while I drive called my name and said that they are ready for me. I got in the car and did everything I had to do. At the end of the drivers test they told me that i passed and that i had to come in and take my picture for my ID. I did all the stuff and now I can drive without a parent in the car i feel so free. I get a phone call from Dustin I totally forgot about the Kendall and Jake thing until now anyways I answered the phone

"Oh no what happened to Kendall?"

"Alyssa this is Kendall"

"Why are you calling on Dustin's phone?"

"Jake broke my phone"

"Ok well i passed my drivers test so im coming to see you"

Then i hung up the phone and drove right to the high school to see Kendal and Dustin to see what happened to Jake. Once i got there I see that Jake is not there but Kendall has a bloody nose and lip so i fucking hug him and Dustin to death. Kendall said that his back hurts really bad. Dustin usally rides the bus home i took Kendall in my car to take him home and Dustin took Kendall's car to Kendall's house. Once we got to Kendall's house I made Kendall lay on his bed and I went in the kitchen top grab some ice and put it on his back and also grabbed a paper towel for the blood on Kendall's face. he wanted me to stay overnight to take care of him so I did.
