Once in a lifetime

Chapter 13

Alyssa's POV:

I woke up coughing and Kendall left to go to work and i texted him saying have a nice day baby. I got out of bed to go take a shower but before i could turn on the shower i ran up to the toilet and puked. I got in the shower and i took a really quick one so i can get out and text people. I got out of the shower and i went to change and went on my phone. I texted Kendall and Alexa saying that i throw up and that i dont feel good. 20 minutes later i got a text from Alexa saying that she is coming over after school and i just said ok. Now im waiting for Kendall's reply.

It was about lunch time so i went in the kitchen to grab some food and Kevin is in there. He asked me where i have been all this time so i told him i throw up and he went in the bathroom to grab a thermometer and took my temp. My temp was 110 degrees. He made me soup and told me to go back in Kendall's room so i did as i told. i got in Kendall's room and turned on the TV. Kevin came into the room with a tray and 2 bowls of soup.

"Whats with the other bowl"

"Im going to eat with you is that a problem"

"Nope and plus i need somebody right now"

"Dont worry about your dad, mom or Jake your with us and Kendall will protect you"

"How? He will be at work"

"True but hey you can always go on set"

I sat there for a minute and began to eat again. Kevin looked at me and was wondering what i was thinking of. I just remembered of a flashback.

Flashback:

I was at my dads house and Katie and i were watching Unnatural History. This was the first episode that i ever saw and the main character's name was Henry. So by the end of the episode i got hooked right away. At the end of the episode me and Katie were fighting over Henry because we both thought he was hot.

End of flashback

"OMG THAT WAS YOU"

"What?" Kevin gave me a confused look

"YOU WERE HENRY ON UNNATURAL HISTORY"

"Yep i was" Kevin just smiled

"OMG ME AND MY FRIEND HAD A CRUSH ON YOU"

"Haha wow and now your dating my brother what happened about me"

"Idk once the show ended i forgot about you"

"You know Kendall was on a episode right?"

"OMG HE WAS?!?!?! SHOW SHOW SHOW ME PLEASE"

I begged him and he went on YouTube to find it and he showed me. I was surprised that Kendall guest stared on it. Once we finished eating Kevin went to go wash the dishes and go take Sissy on a walk. It was 3 and i hear a car door close. I looked out the window and i see Alexa with a bag walking to the door. I got to the front door i opened it and Alexa was just about to knock. I laughed and she laughed to. We went in Kendall's room and she hands me the bag.

I looked in the bad and there is little snacks and something else. It was a letter. She told me to wait till Kendall comes home to read it. So i nodded. She took me out of the house to a Ice Cream place. I got Piece of Cake and she got Cotton Candy. We got back to Kendall's house and Kendall's car is in the driveway. Alexa told me to run. So i jumped out of the car and ran to the front door. I ran in and i jumped into Kendall's arms.

Kendall's POV:

Once Alyssa jumped in my arms I took her in my room. Once we got into my room i set her down on my bed and i see a bag.

"Alexa gave that to me"

"Because your sick?"

"Ya you got my text. Why didn't you answer?"

"Sorry baby i was really busy since it was the first day but listen if your feeling better tomorrow you can come on set with me"

Her face expression changed to excited from happy. She grabbed a letter from the table and she said that she waited to read it till i got home. I nodded and she read it out loud. Of course it was from Jake. it said:

"Hey Alyssa I told Alexa to send you this. Anyways im really sorry for beating up Kendall i really am. And im really sorry that your mom kicked you out. But most importantly im sorry for making you move away and if you want to talk here's my phone number"

On the back of the paper there was Jakes phone number. Alyssa started to cry so i hugged her and shes crying into my chest. Great this is what we both have to deal with. I dont know what she is crying from the fact that he said "sorry" or that he reminded her of her mom and dad. I told her to look up at me and she did. I looked at her eyes and i wiped her tears away with my thumb and told her everything is going to be ok.

Once Alyssa stopped crying it was time for dinner. My dad isnt here yet because he has to work late again. Once we finished dinner Kevin wanted to talk to Alyssa for a minute so i told her that i'll be in my room. She came in my room with a smile on her face. I asked her why she was smiling. She said nothing and handed me my phone. It was a video so i pressed play and i see it was the episode that i guess stared on. I just laughed while Alyssa did the same. After that whole thing i went to go talk to my mom.

I asked her what i should do with the Jake thing and she just said see how it goes and if i see anything suspicious to tell Alyssa and keep her away from him. So i did that i told Alyssa to text Jake and see what he says. They had a pretty normal conversation and nothing at all about me. So after that we were both getting tired so we both decided to go to bed. We laid on my bed and got under the covers. Alyssa's head was on my chest and i set my alarm and put my arm around her to make her feel safe. Then we both drifted off to sleep.
