The Equestria Games

Chapter two

"Hello! Hello everypony! And welcome to our annual reaping for the annual Equestria games!" Princess Cadence said into the microphone.

"I will now choose one young mare to participate! Ladies first!"

Cadence used her horn and swished around the names in the glass ball.

"Sweetie belle!"

Rarity and Sweetie belle both froze. Moments later, she was being walked to the stage by the royal guards.

"NO! Sweetie!" rarity screamed.

The guards held her back. pushing them aside she shouted,

"I volunteer!! I volunteer as the mare tribute." she was out of breath.

"Looks like we have our first ever volunteer for Ponyville!" said Cadence pleased.

The guards started to walk Rarity to the stage.

"NO, NO!!" Sweetie belle screamed.

She ran up to Rarity.

"Go find mom and dad, Sweetie.-"

"NO! NO! RARITY!!!"

Rainbow dash came and carried Sweetie belle to her parents. She kept screaming.

Rarity walked up to the stage slowly.

"Come on up dear! Don't be scared. What's your name dear?"

"Rarity..."

"Do I know you from somewhere?" Cadence asked.

"I made your wedding dress." Rarity said quietly."

"Yes, yes. Now for the boys!"

"... Big Mclntosh!"

The guards walked Big Mac to the stage. Rarity saw Applejack and her family get teary.

"And let's hear it for our tributes representing Ponyville!" Cadence said enthusiastically.

There was no sound but eventually every pony bowed their head down with respect. The two tributes stood there awkwardly.

"Go on you two, shake hooves."

Rarity shook Big Mac's hoof.

"Applejack's brother?" Rarity asked.

"Y...yup."
