Tyrone Argyros POVTo say I was pissed would be an understatement, I was livid.
I spent the last three hours pacing my office.
When she stormed out of my office earlier today, I thought she would come back after awhile. However I knew I was wrong the moment Luca informed me that she told him to bring our princess to some beach.
I tried calling her multiple times, but I was redirected to the voicemail each and every time.
I had to make Luca call her to inquire where she was, but I still got no answer.
An hour and a half later my boys came in my office telling me how they had fun with their mother and uncle Claus. I saw red when the fact that she would rather spend her time with her guard than me, her husband registered in my mind.
I never really liked the man from the moment he was assigned as the chief of her security team.
She took an instant liking to him saying that he reminded her of a very dear person from her past, so I tried not to show my feelings about him a lot. Only when they were too close from each other, closer than I would like, only then, I would tell her about how much I didn't like him, and that I wanted to fire him since he was crossing the line.
I remember this one time I told her about it when she was still pregnant with Eyton, and her pregnancy hormones kicked in. She was livid at first and lashed out at me, then all of a sudden she started crying saying if I continued being this possessive over her, she would be left with no one to talk to except me and my family. Which was fine by me, I didn't want her close with any others.
I still miss how we were before that incident occurred.
Since then, she did not only distance herself from me but from my family too.
It seemed as if she didn't want to have anything related to me.
She thought that my family knew I was cheating on her, thus she kept her distance.
Since then, I hated Claus even more because from then on, beside our children he was the only one she kept around her. No one else had the privilege to see any type of emotion on her features except her calculated and stone cold business face.
Not even me.
I tried to fire him after our argument a year ago, but she said that she would hire him back with her own money if I did.
Therefore I had no choice but sitting in a corner and watching my wife being all lovey-dovey with another man while treating me like an unwanted shadow in her life, and no matter how I wanted to blame her for it, I knew I can't because I knew I should have fired that slut the moment she started showing interest in me despite knowing I was a married man.
The sound of the engine of her car brought me back from my short reverie, I bolted outside to the living room.
I saw her entering in the same clothes from this morning a skin tight black ripped jeans, peach top, and black converse. The only difference was that there was few blood drops on her otherwise clean top, and her knuckles seemed scratched with blood oozing from them.
"WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN, ZELDA? AND WHAT ARE THOSE WOUNDS ON YOUR KNUCKLES!" I thundered.
"Out." Was her curt reply, then she went upstairs.
I went after her, and stopped her from closing the door in my face. I grabbed her shoulders. "What's wrong with you, Zelda! How come you can play, laugh, and have fun with Claus, but can't conduct a proper conversation with me, your husband?" I asked her tiredly.
She glared at me, and pried herself from my grip.
She was about to go in the bathroom before I stopped her again. "Please, I've been trying for more than a year now, at least answer me-"
"BECAUSE HE WASN'T SUCKING SOME SLUT'S FACE IN THE TIME HE SHOULD BE BESIDE HIS PREGNANT WIFE!" She shouted. "BECAUSE HE DIDN'T BREAK MY TRUST FOR SOME WORTHLESS WHORE!" She continued. "Should I stop, or do you need more reasons?" she asked in a sarcastic tone, but the look she was giving me was what took me off guard.
It was a look of pure disgust.
"But you never gave me an opportunity to explain, if you truly loved me you would at least hear my side of the story before jumping into conclusions." I declared looking in her eyes pleading her to at least give a chance.
However nothing could have prepared me to what she said next.
"I never said I loved you, Tyrone, and I know exactly what happened that day. I was there long enough to hear and see what I needed. I saw her presenting herself to you on a silver plate, I saw how you eye-raped her before finally snapping out of it and remembering your family. Your pregnant wife who's waiting for you in your house, and your children who looked up to you. It was however a little too late since her top was already on the floor, and she was on your lap sucking your face, and I'm sure if I didn't interfere you would have already impregnated her." She said shocking me to the core, I didn't even realise that it was what the situation looked to her. I didn't realise that my actions were this disgusting and degrad-worthy for her.
"So dearest husband, I might not have loved you, but neither did you. The only difference is that I didn't go whoring around while pretending to be a loving wife and a mother, so don't you fucking come lecturing me about love. I swore that damned word off the moment that motherfucking bastard of an ex ruined me, and conned me out of my life. I swore that cursed word off the moment I watched life being sucked off of the eyes of the only man beside my father who truly cared for me because of some unworthy useless bunch of people's sick and baseless greed." Her tone was becoming angrier and angrier towards the end.
I could sense strong resentment, loathe even to those people she was speaking about.
Her ex to be exact. I didn't know what exactly happened nine years ago, but seeing that she was having all these negative feelings to the people involved in it. I would say it was a tragedy. One that left her bitter, and completely destroyed.
Nevertheless I needed to explain to her what she saw. What she thought was the truth was nothing but a misunderstanding, she needed to see it from my perspective to understand.
"It wasn't like that, never like that! I-" I tried to explain, but as usual I was cut off.
"To be honest, I don't give two flying fucks about how it was. I have handfuls of problems that need to be solved in the company alone, not to mention those outside it. Sophia maybe my proxy, but I'm the owner, and I still have to bear its burden. Anything else is gonna have to wait." She said tiredly.
"Our marriage is not a business deal that you can deal with whenever you wish, and the way you deem fit!" I said angrily.
"Oh, but it is exactly that. You were the one who said that it's a marriage of convenience. The only reason you married me all those years ago was because you wanted your new born son to have a stable family when he grows up, am I wrong?" Indeed it was all because of Egan that I proposed to help her in exchange of marrying me. Since the very first moment he seemed to cry whenever she left him, so I decided to take that move.
However that all changed two years after our marriage. I started to develop feelings for her deeper than I did with my whore of ex wife.
"Now, if you'll excuse I need to take a shower before I head to the boys room." She said when I didn't answer.
I got out of the room remembering our very first meeting, how broken, sad, and defeated she looked. How she stirred deep emotions that were foreign to me in my dormant heart.

Until next time.
