-¿Ya terminaste de limpiar la cocina? "Did you finish cleaning the kitchen?"-My mum asked me.

-Yeah mum, I finished the kitchen, my room and one of the bathrooms.

-Okay Venus, anda a buscar tus cosas. "Okay Venus, go grab your stuff."

I grabbed my keys, my earphones just in case, some money and a hoodie. I was about to leave but my mum stopped me, blessed me and then I got out of there.

-Hey Alexander.-I waved at him.

-Hey Ve, you lookin' nice.

-Thanks, what are we doing?-I totally ignored his comment, I just wanted to let him know that I wasn't interested in a relationship.

-I was thinking about going to the mall, and I don't know, maybe grab some food.

-Sure, that sounds cool, also I wanted to got to a mall to buy snickers.

-Cool, then we could go to Adidas or something.

All the way to the mall was so uncomfortable that I decided I would go on my phone. I hated my brother for convincing me to this type of shit. I was so bored that I decided to start a conversation.

-So... how's university been so far?

-Okay, I guess.

-What about high school?

-It has been great, my last year and I'm crushing it, I think I'm gonna get the highest GPA of my high school.

-Wow, that's nice.

-So you really like studying.

-I don't like studying, but I do like getting good grades and feeling that I've accomplished something, you know what I'm saying?

-Yeah, I get it. You seem hard working.

-I am.

-So... What have you been thinking about studying?

-I'm gonna study Nursery, but imma do a Music Production grade on line.

-That's lit.

-Yeah, but I will have to be working all summer to pay for the grade.

-I'm sure it's gonna be worth it.

-Yeah, I hope so.

-What type of music do you listen to?

-Everything, like I could cry because of a ranchera or get lit with some Hip-Hop the same night.

-I like playing soccer, that's how I got my scholarship.
