You decided to go outside and get some fresh air. After all, you just spent the first few days of your summer in the hospital. Not the best start to your summer vacation. You put on your shoes, T-shirt, and shorts. Dashing down your driveway, you turned to the sidewalk and began jogging. Eventually, you ran out of breath and had to walk the rest of the way. While walking, you saw Prince in his backyard watering some plants and flowers. You turned into his driveway and got his attention.

"Hey (name)! You look much better today!"

"Thank you, and thanks for coming to see me at the hospital."

"Of course! It is my duty after all."

He dropped his watering can and walked up to you, a calm smile on his face.

"So um... what exactly happened to bully?"

"Oh, he'll be suspended for the first week of school once it starts." he shrugged.

You suddenly remember that your friend had asked for you to search for the forgotten books.

"S-sorry I need to go to school! My friend left their books there and I-" he cut you off, and told you to stay put as he ran into his lonely home. After less than a minute, he came out, hiding something behind his back.

"You meant these?" he held out a pile of books with (friend's name) hastily scribbled on every single one.

"Wha- I-I... thank you!"

Without thinking, you ran up and gave him the biggest hug you could. He wrapped his arms around you and engaged in the hug. A few minutes went by before the Principal let go, remembering that you had to take the books to your friend.

"You should go give those to (friend's name). You've gone through too much trouble to get them, and they're probably worried about you."

"Right! I completely forgot!" you take the books and start speed-walking out of the driveway. You turned around with a smile on your face.

"Thank you so much!" you yelled. Prince waved at you before returning to his garden.

Heck, how did this take as long as it did? AAAAAAAAA
Well, I hope you enjoyed it.
