Summary: Marina slowly transforms into an unlikeable b-witch
That woman- Kisa Fushimi- continue to visit the orphanage, more specifically, visiting Marina. She came once or twice a week, depending on her schedule, Marina was originally wary of this strange woman's intentions. From what she could get from the old computer, Kisa Fushimi is the CEO of a large company. She had no need to visit an old orphanage in the middle of nowhere.
Her constant visits continue well into six months, near the end of the hot summer season, Kisa came back to the orphanage for the one last time, holding adoption papers.
Tōru was a real crybaby and Marina couldn't get him to let her go, "Hey! Don't get snot on my shirt!" he could've clung to some other kids that were definitely nicer than Marina, she acted a bit like a mean older sibling, pinching his ears, calling him nicknames, and giving him the cold, hard truth. Then again, it could be her fault for allowing him to be enamored with the stories she'll find on the net.
Marina gently patted his head or at least tried, as she harshly brought her hand down on his head, "Stupid, I told you to stop the goddam tears, now why don't you be a good boy and let go of my skirt?"
Tōru sniffled and try to use his adorable puppy eyes, "But I'll miss your stories" he said in the most, helpless, sadden voice, a little pout adorn his face that can break the heart of a stone-hard killer, 'This kid has been hanging around me for way too long'
Marina let out a pain-inducing groan, "Look, Shiro, why can't you be like all the other children and kick a ball around instead of listening to me ramble on about the deep dark web?"
"Cuz' it's so much funner!"
"First of all, funner isn't a real word, second of all" She bent down to ruffle his hair, "I taught you everything I know, you better not forget"
Tōru wiped his tears away, "Okay"
"Good"
Marina would be lying if she said she didn't miss him, after all, he is one of the few 'tolerable' in her life.

Meeting Niki Fushimi for the first time, Marina knew what type of person he was, she hated him. but she liked his style. The first month, they got along quite well, how long has it been since she had a good conversation? They shared both a common interest like the favorite author, movie, food and many others. One they share most in common is a favorite hobby and past time. Neither of them says a word, they just know. Though recently, they were a bit more open about it.
It was only the first month of school and Niki Fushima had already received a phone call from the principal, several girls have accused Marina of lighting firecrackers and throwing them into the locker room, the damages; a broken backpack strap, more than half a bottle of expensive shampoo spilled onto the floor, a soaked phone and destroy eardrums from their screaming. Niki would have laughed at the poor victims if he wasn't trying to keep up the perfect citizen appearance.
A total of five girls sat in the principal's office, including Marina, one of them looked like she was crying for a long time, another looked like she was ready to jump across the room and strangle Marina, and the last two didn't even hide their smug face. Marina sat across from them, her legs crossed and her hands in her lap, her back pressed straight against the chair, looking prim and proper. The way she dressed gave off a hint of innocence, her hair worn down, she wore a standard girls uniform along with white cotton legging, and black flats.
