Jimin slid the light blue pants on slowly, his mind occupied by things other than getting dressed in a timely manner for the wedding of two of his best friends.

Yoongi had been acting oddly the past three days they had been at the palace, the elder constantly avoiding any conversation with Jimin, which, in the younger's mind was a step backward from the recent progression of their relationship from merely bodyguard back to at least friends.

But now that they didn't have to spend every moment together, as they were in friendly territory, it was almost like he had disappeared, become a ghost that only showed up when there was food available.

Jimin shook his head, attempting to clear it of the thoughts that tended to romp around his brain every time he was alone.

He only liked you because it was his job

He doesn't actually want to talk to you

He was just making it less painful by talking, he knows that you can't be alone for long.

Jungkook and Tae are getting married so now they won't have time for you.

Yoongi doesn't care about you.

Hoseok is that nice to everyone.

You'll be alone.

Alone

Jimin screamed, his mind deafening as he fell deeper into his old fears, shaking his head to drown the sound of his mother's voice reminding him how worthless his company was.

He fell backward, his back hitting the bed that he assumed hated him too, curling up into a ball as his head still bellowed that he would forever be what he feared the most.

Alone

But everything stopped when he heard a knock on the door followed by the best sounding voice in the universe, despite the fact that it was muffled by the locked door.
