[33] A Miracle

"Get your ass ready to ride, Park Jimin. We're busting you out," Hoseok grinned, sideling up beside the silver haired man, whose smile was not quite as wide as the other beside him, but given the circumstance of Ten's betrayal of his position a grin was not expected.

Jimin breathed, his shoulders dipping as his body released the tension it had held in since the guards pulled him from the cell.

"Fuck, hobi, you scared the shit out of me. I actually thought I was going to die. How are you going to get me out of here? And I'm not going without-"

"Yes, Yoongi is coming too. We know you won't go without him or whatever. Actually, this whole thing was Jaemin's idea," Ten interrupted, gesturing to his timid brother clutching the other guard's hand tightly behind them.

"Jaemin-Ah, how good it is to see you," Jimin's lips curled upward and he spread his arms to embrace the boy, whose fingers were glued to the boy beside him, the "guard" now revealed to be none other than Jeno himself.

"I see the rings are on the fingers now, hmmm?" Jimin chuckled at the expense of the newlyweds, the young pair's cheeks pink at the attention while they shyly glanced at each other, pulling closer almost subconsciously.

"I'll admit, his father was none too happy, but appeared supportive in the end. Although, I'm not sure he likes me..." Jaemin mumbled, his words trailing off as Jeno shushed him and shook his head fervently, the pair acting like middle school crushes rather than a married couple.

Ten shook his head, amused by the antics of his brother, "Aish, they're too cute. I can't really resist it when they beg," Ten looked fondly at the two who were wrapped in their own world, Jeno playing with a loose thread at the end of Jaemin's sleeve, their whispers too low to be heard by anyone but each other.

Ten ripped his eyes from the scene and his smile morphed into the face Jimin was used to, that of a hardened, deliberate, intelligent general.

"Now I do suppose you're wondering how we are going to go about rescuing you, your lover, your general, and your men. Listen carefully, because I don't have much longer before the real soldiers become suspicious. They were already giving side eye to the guards who had the AUDACITY to hold hands in the middle of the prison," Ten glared in the direction of Jeno and Jaemin, who were still oblivious.

"Yoongi will also be briefed in a similar manner. However, I need you to pretend to be distraught and surprised when we drag him away, as we do not want anything to look out of the ordinary.

"The time will be two in the morning. You will have three minutes to exit the prison once Prince Baekhyun comes to unlock the cells accompanied by his lov- friend. Once you exit the prison you will then have exactly two minutes to meet your men at the south stable where ten horses, saddled with light provisions will await you along with Prince Haechan who will tell you when you are clear to escape. Once you have cleared the palace walls, ride, Jimin. Don't stop until the horses are feigning. Taemin will find out within three hours of your exit or less, and he will send men after you from all sides. I cannot do better as I will have to lead the search for you. I cannot know your direction for I will subconsciously reveal it. Hoseok can vouch for my abilities so please, dear god, ride fast. Get out of Anti as fast as possible, Jimin. And please, keep safe.
