Pack

The alpha leader died but his soul is leading the pack and guiding their path .

Jungkook stood on a big rock in his human form , darkness consumed everything around him ,  looking up at the moonless sky before parting his lips to howl , red and purple vein became visible on his long neck . Jungkook's loud howls echoed through the forest , inside the cave where the werewolves were resting , melded with the air .

Seokjin was aware that the alpha was calling someone but who ? He was still wondering until Jimin came and placed a hand on his shoulder.
"He's calling our deceased leader. His father...that's the only time we're not allowed to howl back."
The male nodded in understanding gaining a sweet smile from the blue eyed omega who left to get some sleep.

The Delta's body moved on his own as he left his previous spot and headed toward the rock , where the leader was. Seokjin didn't approach but still watched in awe , as Jungkook , in his human form not the wolf , howled . The scenery was breathtaking for him , unfortunately for Jin he couldn't enjoy it too much , the wolf inside him winced in pain which he couldn't understand .

Before falling once again the Alpha was already holding his waist with his muscular arm and Jin was forced to place a hand on the other's chest to get some balance back. He was particularly in his arms but god forbids , he didn't darr to look in his eyes.

"Go back and get some rest. I am watching tonight."

That's right , they were taking roles each night in guarding the cave. One of the essential survival rules they learned is to always keep one eye opened no matter how powerful the pack is .
Today it's was the young alpha's turn which means he needed no one else to be with him  .

"Alpha , can i guard as well?"

Jungkook reached for his hand toward Jin's previous wound and applied a pressure on it , he felt an electric shock shooting through his body from the sudden pain he felt.

"Point proven. Now go back."

"Today is the last hunt , then we're going back ." Namjoon announced in a calm voice as the sun let it golden rays touch his skin , his eyes gaining another color. He continued :
"The alphas from other territories are taking a rest , so Jimin and Hoseok it'll be safe for you to go without Yoongi this time ."

The omegas smiled at Namjoon then at each other , they really needed to prove how strong they can be without a Beta or an Alpha's protection. Yet Yoongi frowned a little bit. He didn't really like the idea of them going alone .

Speaking of Alphas , Jungkook was asleep in a corner , his back against the cold wall , with his arms crossed
Above his chest that rose and fell whenever he took a breath .
Seokjin wasn't really focusing on what their co-leader was saying , he was busy listening to the alpha's steady heart beat while he was asleep .

After they left , Namjoon approached Yoongi and said : "Follow them from above and don't let them see you."
The Beta nodded and left.

"Don't be surprised Seokjin , I know I said they can go and hunt on their own but they still need protection."
"Sorry Alpha."
"It's okay . And just to let you know Jungkook alpha sent yoongi to watch over you when you went hunting as well. But gramps complained a lot , he said that he didn't catch your scent so it made finding you harder."
The male was taken aback by the statement. But how? He felt surprised but he was grateful .
"Thank you."
"Your lacking of scent is really dangerous Jin , Jungkook hates it , that's the only reason you're not fully accepted yet."
"..."
"I hope you understand."
"I do alpha....Am really sorry...that's what makes me a delta."
"Don't apologize for who you are."

Seokjin was contemplating the sun as it started to go down , signaling the day's ending , his thoughts were a mess especially after what their alpha co-leader told him.

He wanted to cry because of it but that'll make him so weak so he just swallowed the lump and took a deep breath.

But his wolf was suddenly agitated.
He felt like he was going to start growling.
Which only mean one thing for a delta.
A danger is approaching.

"Alpha!" He turned quickly to Jungkook whom quickly walked toward exit and stood next to him sniffing around.

"Fuck." Jungkook cursed under his breath , trying to surpass a growl himself.

"Namjoon no one follows me even you!" Jk said before turning to his black wolf and jumped with a massive strength that Jin felt his heart stopping at the alpha's action.

While they were waiting calmly , Seokjin's wolf was still growling from one time to another .

"Jin calm down your wolf." Namjoon said and Jin gritted his teeth to prevent himself from making any sound .  His teeth were about to bleed from the extra pressure he was applying .

"Seokjinah." Jimin said while patting his back only for Jin to jump out and turn into a wolf following the alpha who left leaving everyone behind him surprised.

"Oh damn..Alpha won't be pleased at all." Hoseok said while Namjoon sighed. This delta is stubborn.

Seokjin didn't know what happened and how it did. But there he was , his head under the alpha's chin , his head covering the black wolf's throat completely while both alphas , Jk and the stranger, were gritting their teeth and fangs at each other .
The blood that came from his ear stained his white fur  but the only thing he focused on was to stay still in this position .
The outsider whom was twice Jk's size  growled one last time before turning his back and leave.
The black wolf leaned after the battle was done and obviously he was the winner and licked the blood off the white one , white returning white again after being dyed in a crimson red.
The wound was a mere scratch but it's better to be cleaned.

"Alpha really didn't scold you." Jimin said with a goofy grin .
"You're a crazy wolf I swear." Hoseok said with another goofy grin.
"Is this teasing seokjin party or what?"
The Delta said while looking up.
The three were laying on their back watching the night sky which finally had some stars .
"Maybe."
"Seokjinah....is it real?"
"What is it Jiminie?"
"About what we heard from Namjoon alpha?"
"...and it is?"
"You're the one who's going to help alpha Jungkook with his rut ?"
Jin froze when he heard that word.
