A few days passed and it was now time for science. You and Addi got there early, then Ebony and the rest of the class and finally Mackenzie...
You didn't speak much at first, just a polite 'hi' but once they had sat down comfortably, you presented them the question.
"There's something I don't understand about you and your friends. you don't give any attention to school but you care so much about keeping your 'image', why?" You recited it perfectly, just in simpler words.
It startled them that you were so direct then after a few moments they replied.
"Give me your number and Ill show you" they secretively got their phone out from under the table. You rolled your eyes as they handed it to you and you reluctantly put your number in. Your phone vibrated as you got their reply. It was a link to a YouTube video and a comment underneath that read.

You didn't actively like boyinaband but you knew that song, and now you understood what they meant.

You didn't really agree with their point because you can't exactly say that in a job interview, or put at the end of your CV 'I didn't care, because what they taught was pointless; I only learned what was useful'. On the other hand, you were secretly happy that you could now talk to them more. You also had their number...
