I didn't call or text or have any contact with Callie due to the fact I knew she wanted to be alone.. I sat in my room in my house and played with a rubber band that I found on the floor, the boys were back from Aspen so I called Mat upstairs to help me...
Mat came upstairs to my room with his guitar and I handed him the music sheets and it told him when in the song to play, I saw the keyboard across the room, I took it out and I played the keys, finding the right melody and I started singing the song I wrote:
"I took you at your word,
when you said you would steal my heart.
Yeah this might sound absurd,
but would you be my thief,
take all of me,
every part.
Love love love is my crime.
So baby come catch me and let's do the time.
I think we might be outlaws.
I think we might be in love.
'Cause I'm all out of reasons,
like seasons,
Winter, summer, fall
they're all washed up.
If you're still way over there,
maybe slide on in by my side,
'Cause I'm just an outlaw,
wanted if you want me.
I love you everyday and every night--"
I smiled at him and he played the background guitar and my keyboard was the main sound. I kept singing:
"--Lock me up for good,
Right here in your arms.
You vandalize my neighborhood,
with your piercing eyes
and devilish charm.
Love love love is my crime.
So baby, come catch me and let's do the time.
I think we might be outlaws.
I think I might be in love.
'Cause I'm all out of reasons,
like seasons,
Winter, summer, fall
they're all washed up.
If you're still way over there,
maybe slide on in by my side,
'Cause I'm just an outlaw,
wanted if you want me.
I love you everyday and every night."
We stopped. He highfived me and he put his guitar down, "When are you're gonna play it for her?" Mat asked. I laughed. "Not for a while... If we ever get married, which I doubt. I'll play it for her then." I smiled. Mat wrapped his arms around me. "Ya know, bud... I wouldn't be surprised if I ever saw you in a tux and that beautiful maiden in a wedding dress.." I blushed.
"What the hell are you talking about?" I laughed. "Nah, seriously.. Dude, picture it. Don't you see you guys getting married? Like.. One day?" Mat made me picture it in my head but I shook my head. "No... Now get out! I have things to finish." He grabbed his guitar and left my room. I sat on my bed and continued to play with the rubber band.
