The girls all swarmed around C/N as he walked through the halls. I have liked him for about 2 years but, he's such a popular, amazing guy, and I'm just... well me. I guess I've always known that I've never had a chance with C/N, but my heart, and stomach likes to feel otherwise when he comes around. We are in the same Chem class so we talk here and there, but it's never more than a simple what's up. "Hey what's up?" C/N called as he walked by. See I told you. I waved very lightly as he passed. When he got mid-way down the hall he turned back a winked at me. No way he probably had dust in his eye. I have a mental argument with myself until the 5th period Bell rings. I trudge down to the cafeteria waiting for my BF/N Michael to come in. " HEY Y/N" Michael came running in. I'm not gonna lie Mikey( his Nickname) is very cute but it will be kinda weird if we got into a relationship, because we basically knew each-other our whole lives. " Mikeyyyy!!!!" I run over a hug him very tightly. He grips my hips as he hugs me. " Oh Shitttt don't look now but C/N is staring me down. I swear if looks could kill I'd be dead 10 times" he whispered in my ear. That's when an idea popped into my head. " Mikeyyyy." I batted my eyelashes at him. " Oh I know that face what do you want?" He caught on quickly. " I want you to help me to make C/N, can you just pretend flirt with me, plus it'll be easy beacuse we already are so comfortable with eachother. Pretty Please?" " Oh lord. C/N will murder me. I'll do it, but you owe me one. Deal?" He asked. " I love you so much Mikey!" "Why don't we just start now?" He spun me around off the ground. He placed me down and interlaced our fingers as we walked into the cafeteria. There were a bunch of Ooos, and ahhhhs, as we walked through. " I think this is working Mikey" I whispered. " C/N is looking right at us,  I'm gonna whisper something pretend it's the funniest thing you've heard, then walk away and I'm gonna pull you make and we are gonna look all lovey-Dovey in each others eyes. After that we are gonna get really close but not kiss, kinda just stand there. Got it?" He quickly spoke. I nodded my head and played along. He moved my hair to the side
and whispered in my ear. I let out a very loud laugh to make C/N notice, he was looking straight at us while I walked away and Mikey pulled me back looked at me. Once we got close enough to touch each other's nose I felt something pull me away. " Who is that?" C/N pointed. " Mikey" I said still acting all lovey- dovey. " You can't like him!" He shouted. "Why?" I questioned very confused. " Because I- I like you, like a lot and it made me really jealous when I saw you almost kiss him" He sighed loudly. I stood there shocked. " Wait. You like... me?" I said pointing to myself. " I like you too, but why do you like me? Of all people, there are so many gorgeous girls that go to this school, you can choose them at any time. But me? This has gotta be a joke or something." I said tears welling up in my eyes. " No, you've got it all wrong Y/N. You are the only gorgeous girl I see, plus your smart, funny, and kind. There's nothing to not like about you, I would've told you much sooner...as in 10th grade, but I always thought you wouldn't wanna date me." I took his hand in mine. " Well now that our feelings are out, we should date." I smiled. " Really??" He smiled the most adorable smile ever. " Yes, also Mikey is my best friend of 17 years, he helped me make you jealous, and I'm glad to see my plan worked."
