" Honey it's 11:30 are you sure you don't want to save the rest for tomorrow, and get some sleep"? My mom called from her bedroom." I'm okay mom I really need to study for this test, I won't go to sleep too late, promise"." Okay sweetie, I am going to sleep now, have a good night love you". She closed her door in, and I was finally up alone full of distraction ready to study. Trig is one of the hardest subjects I take, but I'm always excited to go to that class. My crush Sawyer is in that class, and I have had the biggest crush on him for about two years now. I want to think about him, but I cannot let my mind drift off now. 

It's 1 am, and as I'm trying to cram the last topic in my head, there is a soft pattering sound against my window. The sound increases and starts moving at a more rapid pace. I get up to see what it is, and my mind goes completely blank. It's Sawyer knocking on my window. Stunned I stay there and stare at him with a blank expression. He knocks again, breaking me free of my trance. I open the window and see he has chocolates, and my favorite flowers in his hand. 

" W-What are you doing here Sawyer"? 

" I really have to tell you something important" He looks up at the ceiling

" Okay, we can sit if you want"

" Okay". He takes a deep breath in and starts to explain why he is here. " I like you Ruby. I have liked you ever since you walked into our homeroom in Freshman year. I love the way you laugh, and how your nose crinkles when you laugh hard, I love the way your hair shimmers in the sun, and how your eyes glow, I love how you think, with a pencil in your mouth and your hair falling in your face. I love how you are so nice to everyone, and always make people feel welcomed. I love everything about you, and I really am hoping that you would let me take you on a date.

Tears are flowing down my face and I am shocked. "  Yes I would love to , I have liked you for so long and I thought you could never like someone like me" I look down

" I've never wanted anything but a girl like you". He tilts my chin up" I really want to kiss you right now, is that okay"?

" Yes of course"

He slowly kisses me and my stomach bursts into a million fireworks. " Thank you Sawyer for coming to tell me this, I am so glad you did, and thank you for the the flowers, and chocolates these are my favorites

" Yes of course, I am going to leave now but I will see you tomorrow, and don't stay up studying too late you are going to do great on the test. Goodnight".

"Goodnight Sawyer". This night has been the best night ever and I quickly fall asleep replaying our kiss in my mind.
