I run down the stairs, grabbing my coat, which I intend to rest on my arm. Getting to the door, I grab the key off the table beside the door. I open the door and am greeted by a tall, nice smelling, handsome man. His hair is dark brown and he has stubble. His feet are on separate steps and he greets me with a smile.
From behind him he pulls a rose which I think is beautiful. I am shocked to be given it and do a short laugh. I smile and take it out of his hand. I turn my back and wonder where on earth I'm going to place it. I have flowers already placed in a vase on the table where the keys were so I decide to take the already existent flowers out and lay them on the table. I replace the old flowers with the newly given, beautiful rose.
I close the door and look at him.
'That is so cute, thank you,' I say. I didn't really know what else to say and I can feel my face blushing already.
'It's fine,' he replies with his memorable voice; so deep and masculine. I look over at what I expect is his car because I've not seen it before. He notices my eyes move away from his and he looks to where I'm looking.
'Beauty, isn't it?' He looks back at me, I'm still staring at his car.
'It looks really smart, what car is it?' I have no idea when it comes to cars but I know an expensive car when I see one.
He looks back at his car.
'Bentley Continental GT. I'm guessing you know a lot about Bentley?' He asks, I hope to God he's joking or I'm gonna look so stupid.
'Yeah. Bentley is my favourite car,' I manage to get away with not making it look like a lie but being sarcastic at the same time. This should help if he was joking or whether he wasn't.
'I don't expect you to know what it is, don't worry. Come on,' he turns and walks away. I smile and follow. I open the absolutely stunning car and get in, where he is sat casually, yet to turn on the engine. I look at my reflection in the mirror thing on the side, have no idea what it's called.
'I'm guessing you like the rear-view mirror?'
'What? No, sorry, I was just looking,' I am interrupted -
'You look beautiful, Sarah.' He's a liar. I'm wearing no makeup, how dare he tell me I look beautiful. I know for a fact I don't.
'Thank-you. Though, I'm wearing no makeup so... Not really,' I reply after going through a thought process.
'No! Really? You must be naturally beautiful.' He's such a charmer. He starts the engine and we're off.
I have no idea where we're going but we've been in the car for around fifteen minutes now. My curiosity overpowers me.
'So...' I tap my hands on my knees repeatedly, looking out of my window. 'Where are you taking me?'
'This place I know. It's a really good restaurant! Well, I like it, anyway. Some might say it's fancy,' he replies softly, looking at me mid sentence.
We finally arrive after twenty minutes of driving and we park up.
I guess I'm one of the people that he says find this place 'fancy'. My God is it fancy.
