Suddenly, blue and red lights flashed in the windows. "Freeze!" A man's voice shouted. Jack froze. "Put your hands up, and step away from the boy!" The man yelled again. Jack looked at me, then at the source of the voice, as if he was deciding, while Jeff and Carl put their hands up, a terrified look on their faces. I was too weak to turn to see who was speaking, all I could do was cough as the blood spilled out of my mouth. Jack stared at me, pure hate filling his eyes. Then he ran. A man in blue charged after Jack, tackling him to the ground, and handcuffing him. Another officer walked over to me, and shouted, "Call an ambulance, and get a blanket!" The policeman walked over to me, and gasped, staring at the pool of blood I was in. "My God!" He said. My vision went blurry, and the whole world began to spin. Everything went black, and I passed out.
