Janna had arrived home from a really long and exhausting day in university, she just wanted to crawl into bed and sleep, but unfortunately she couldn't. The professor had given her tons and tons of homework for the next week and she was about to explode.
As soon as she stepped inside her room she plopped down on her bed for a few minutes before taking a shower and working on her homework. As she enjoyed her peaceful bed, thousands of girls around the world, who had turned eighteen the same day, were being brought before the King and examined to find the King's possible mate. The girls who refused to obey the law were taken unto the death chambers of the castle and killed with no mercy or shame.
The King sat on his throne trying to find his lifelong mate, and as usual he didn't find anything. If he didn't find his mate soon the curse would fall upon him and he would die on his next birthday, so basically he had less than a human year to find his mate or one of his brothers would take over the throne and the kingdom.
Still naive as ever Janna kept living her university life to the fullest, not knowing her life long partner was in the verge of death.

The king sat in his throne, already feeling the symptoms of the curse that was made to fall upon him. He had less than a year to find his soulmate, and he hadn't found her. He felt a burning sensation inside of him that was eating him alive, and only one person could make him feel better. Her. The pack's Luna. His girl. The one. But he didn't feel like she was going to arrive any sooner.
"Hyung.... there are only fifteen days left until the candidates who turned 18 run out. We would have to wait three months until the next birthday cycle occurs" Jimin's younger brother, Jungkook, said to him.
"It's okay Jungkook, I'm starting to lose hope" he said as he slumped back into the throne. " My body is already burning Kook, meaning I only have six months left to find her or I'll be dead."
"You'll be okay hyung, just wait and see. Patience is the key to find the one person you love and are destined to be forever. So in conclusion, be patient, I know she's out there somewhere" said Jungkook as he tried to cheer his older brother up.
Those words cooled him up a bit, but they weren't sufficient to make him cool down completely. Because he was running out of time.
