They were coming. And he couldn't do anything to stop them. They wouldn't listen to him. He was one of them, meaning that he should have the same motives. But he didn't. He wanted to help this doomed planet, and its inhabitants.
The Kaelim touched down on Earth not long after he had. They would get to work soon, taking all available resources and killing anything that got in their way. They needed to be stopped. But how? Their numbers were vast, and his was only one. He needed his own allies. And he knew who to go to.
