Kaelims' Backstory

Arrn

The cave visibly dripped. It wasn't the best place to hide, but there was no other places that wasn't painfully obvious. The Kaelim wouldn't bother to look in such a damp place. 

Arrn had chosen the cave for one obvious reason, and for one less obvious reason. The cave would be a base of sorts, where Arrn could make plans and figure out how to approach humans without terrifying them. They were probably not used to the stitched-up appearance that he had, nor the green skin and blue fur. Arrn couldn't help them if they were scared, and without his help, they were doomed. So Arrn needed a solid plan. 

The first plan was to simply approach the human leaders and inform them of the Kaelims' plan. But many things could go wrong with that. Next idea. 

The second plan was to put up flyers. Arrn had studied the humans, and saw that whenever other humans wanted to tell others about something, they put up paper with pictures and words. Arrn would do the same, if he knew the human language. Which he did not. He could not write human language, therefore messing up the entire plan. 

The final plan was to approach a human child. Arrn had seen human children accept other species into their group. Would they do the same with him? Once they accepted him, he could warn their caregivers, who would listen to reason and help him stop his own dangerous species. Arrn liked this plan. He could verbally communicate with them, thanks to the intergalactic translator set in his ear. The plan wouldn't be hard. He only needed to find human children.
