"You ready for this?" Tony Padilla asked his dark haired sister, who was sitting in the red mustang's passenger seat; taking deep breaths as she glanced out the window to all the passing kids.

"Tony, this is my first time in this school since freshman year, no way i'm ready" Violet told her brother.

"C'mon, everyone wants to see you" The older sibling spoke to the stressed girl as he pulled her out the car. Whispers from all over where heard. Talking about how Violet was back and were already stirring rumors why she left. Tony kep close to his younger sister until they walked into the main hallway where everyone's voice dropped as they stared at the two very beautiful siblings.

"No way! V! Welcome back buttercup!" A loud voice cut through the silence causing everyone to look away and began there own conversations again. Tony watched closely at the dark skinned boy who hugged his sister tightly. Montgomery De La Cruz. The two grew up together, almost inseparably. Same applied with Bryce Walker and Justin Foley. Violet hugged the boy back lightly, very aware about what's been going on with a jocks, considering Tony informed her on everything from Jessica's Davis's Rape, Hannah Bakers suicide, The tapes, polaroids, and how Monty destroyed the red car Tony loved so much.

"Hey Monty" Violet spoke softly and quietly as if she was scared. In al honesty she truly was. But seeing Monty standing in front of her hit a nerve. A nerve of the memories they shared. Monty's face was red due to the smiling. But the smile soon faded when Tony pulled Violet into his leather jacket.

"Thinks it's just a better idea if you stay as far away from her as possible Monty. Don't let me see you even look at her again" Tony grinded his teeth together as he pulled the tan girl to his group of friends.

"Jesus Tony. I can handle myself in those situations" Violet rolled her eyes and flared at her brother.

"V I know but you know what he's done. And where there's a Monty, there's a Bryce. Can't let those two get ahold of you"Tony spoke truly to his sister as his mexican assent rolled off his tongue lightly. Before she could speak again the two have showed up in front of Clay Jenson and Justin Foley.

"What the fuck? Violet?" the one and only; Justin Foley yelled as he saw his former best friend. He laughed and smiled before picking her up in his arms and swinging her around into a deep hug.

"I've missed you, dumbass. How come I didn't know you where back" Justin laughed as he held her tightly. Violet smiled widely.

"Surprise" She laughed into his shoulder as the two stared at each other. Justin and Violet where the two that were the closest. They did everything together. Once Violet was forced to move with her aunt Justin was devastated. That was the main reason he began using hard drugs.

"Don't I feel special" the other blue eyed boy, also know as Clay Jenson spoke. V pulled away from Justin and made her way over to the boy who waited arms wide.

"Shut up Clay you know I love you" Violet laughed as the two stumbled into there hug while laughing loudly; causing others to glance over.

"Tony who's this?" A female voice now spine up. Once Clay and Violet let go they both looked over to see a dark skinned girl with chocolate orbs and curly hair looking at her.

"Jessica this is my sister Violet. V meet Jess" Tony gestures between the two. Violets face smiled at the new face.

"Oh my god, right. I've heard a lot about you recently" Jessica laughed and smiled as she stood talking to the younger Padilla girl.

"Are you sitting me? No fucking way that's Violet Padilla i'm seeing" A very deep voice spoke up as the two girl looked to see Zach Dempsey and a brunette walking toward the two. Zach took off in a sprint toward the dark haired girl as he spun her around, picking her off the ground like Justin had. Jessica laughed as she watched the smaller girl being pulled into the air by Zach's much larger frame.

"God damn Zach. I love you buddy but your gonna squeeze all the feeling out of my body" Violet laughed before she got seated back on the ground.

"Three years later and still haven't grown a inch" Zach teased as he spun the shorter girl around

"Three years later and your still making the endless amount of short jokes. Wish I could say I was shocked" Violet joked back with him as her nose scrunched up in a laugh. She then took notice into the brunette with a cain who stood close to Jessica and stared at Zach.

"Violet" She held out her hand for his to shake. He grinned widely as he shook it.

"Alex. Standall. Don't mind the cane either" He spoke with a small laugh. Violet could immediately tell he was insecure about the cane that helped his walk around. She smiled hoping to make the best out of it.

"No worries, it's totally bad ass. You should give it a name" Violet told him. This caused a laugh to leave his lips as he began speaking some more. Violet listened closely but then everything and all noise was cut off. Her eyes where now focused on a skinny brown girl who was opening her locket. Violet recognized the girl almost instantly. Sheri Holland and Violet Padilla were best friend's since kindergarten. They hit it off instantly as they talked about how Violets name was the same as the purple color Sheri had on that day. The two had talked every single day, even after V left.

"I'm sorry but you guys are going to have to excuse me" Violet spoke politely to the group of friends she had just made. Violet then walked toward Sheri. It felt like slow motion. She still hadn't noticed her life long best friend was only a few feet away.

"Sheri? Sheri?" Violets voice came out quiet then louder as she got closet. Sheri's eyes snapped toward the voice she knew to well. It felt like her heart had stopped. The two stared at each other in star struck as they let out two shaky sighs.

"oh my god" Sheri whispered softly as she continued to stare at the girl. Tears formed in her eyes and with that sight; Violet lunged forward and leaped straight into the arms of her best friend.

"V. Oh my god, Oh my god. V I can't believe your actually hear. Jesus fuck I missed you. Shit" Sheri breathed out as she held the girl closer to her tiny figure. They held onto each other for a bit longer, both with single tears rolling down her face
