Chapter 9

Taehyung POV

I watched helplessly as y/n ran out of the coffee shop and out of the mall.

"Where is mama going?" Asked the little voice next to me.

"I'm not sure buts let's go get her" we quickly drank the rest of our drinks and stepped out of the coffee shop.

I scooped Ace into my arms, so he wouldn't get lost, and ran out the mall and down the streets.

I grab my phone out and sent a few texts to y/n

TaeTae
Y/n where are you.

TaeTae
Plz answer your phone.

TaeTae
I'm so sorry about what I said.

TaeTae
Plz, Ace and I are really worried.

I give up and put my phone back in my pocket and start walking to the nearby park.

Ace grabbed my shirt tighter and I felt it getting wet. I quickly realized that he is crying. I place him on his feet in front of me and bend down to his height while wiping his tears away.

"Hey its gonna be okay, we'll find your mom"

"But what if we don't find her" he continued to cry.

"I promise to find your mom. Okay" I said while giving him a hug.

"Pinky promise?" He asked while showing me his pinky.

"Pinky promise," I said and interlocked mine with his. "Do you wanna play some games on my phone while we look?"

He nods so I unlock my phone, to see y/n still hasn't messaged me back so I hand my phone to Ace.

"Its been a while, hasn't y/n?" I heard a voice say from down the path. Curiosity got the better of me and I walk over to where I heard the voice.

Your POV

I look up and I'm met with the eyes of the devil.

"Its been a while, hasn't y/n?"

"Not long enough Kyle" I said with hate in my voice.

"Come on, don't be like that, we haven't seen each other in years I thought you would be nicer" he said while sitting next to me.

"You know I hate you, why are you talking to me?" I asked.

"Is it illegal to want to talk to my girlfriend?" He said while laying his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm not your girlfriend anymore Kyle" I said while shoving his hand of.

"But don't you miss being my girlfriend?"

"No"

"I know you do. Remember back when we were teenagers, we were troublemakers"

"I left that life behind when I left you" I said getting annoyed.

"No you didn't, you can't just leave stuff like that behind" he said resting his hand on my thigh.

"Okay, I said we were meeting next week, so see you then." I said while standing up and walking a few steps away.

"I know you miss it," he said which makes me stop walking "I know you miss all the stuff we did but if you accept my offer. You can come back"

Not bothering to listen anymore I walk away. I walk down the path and see Taehyung with Ace. I walk up to then and Ace runs up to me and I bend down and pick him up.

"Where have you been, we've been so worried" said Tae

"Sorry, but I think it's time we go home" I said while walking out of the park and closer to the road.
