Chapter 18

Your POV.

I woke up at mid day, still hugging Ace who was gripping on to my shirt like his life depends on it.

I giggle quietly before scooping him up in my arms and walking downstairs. I see Tom and Luke dancing in the living room. I walk over to the couch and place the sleeping child on it, placing a blanket on top of him.

"Afternoon Y/n" said Tom who had sat down next to Ace.

"Hello guys, when did you wake up?" I asked walking to the kitchen.

"A few hours ago," said Luke sitting on the other side of Tom "when did you get Izzy?"

"Earlier this morning," I said getting ingredients for a toasted cheese sandwich "do you guys want one?"

"Yes please" they said at the same time.

I got out the ingredients and place the bread on the toaster, that sat next to
the stove, and placed some cheese on then slapped the top on before closing the toaster.

A few minutes later the toaster started beeping, signaling that the toasted sandwiches were done. I get out three plates and put one on each of the plates.

I walk back into the living room and hand the two boys their sandwiches.

"Thanks Y/n, your the best" the said taking the sandwiches

I heard Ace began to move. I look at him moving around under the blanket before bring his tiny hand to rub his eyes.

"Morning sleepy head" I said picking him up and placing him on my lap.

"Hello mama" he replied resting his head on my chest.

"Are you hungry?" I asked, which received a nod from him.

"Would you like some of mum's sandwich?" I asked.

"Yes please" he said fully awake now.

I tore my sandwich in half and handed him the bigger half. He grabbed it and started to munch away at the sandwich while I ate the smaller half.

"Are we gonna wake Izzy up or just gonna let her sleep?" Asked Tom.

"I'm gonna wake her up in a second to give her some food and some painkillers then leave her alone for the rest of the day" I said finishing my sandwich.

"Can I come?" Asked Ace, still eating his half of the sandwich.

"Sure, shall we go now?" I asked.

"Yeah" he said excitedly shoving the remanding sandwich in his mouth, jumping of me and running to the kitchen to get Izzy some water.

I grab an apple, cut it up and placed it in a small bowl, then grabbed some painkillers.

"Come one Ace. Do you have the water?" I asked looking down at my son.

"Yes mum" he said showing me the glass of water that he has grasped in his small hands.

"Let's go see Izzy then" I said walking up the stairs with Ace following me.

We walk down the hall until we reached Izzy room. I carefully open the door to see her arm over her eyes, sleeping.

I walk to the edge of the bed, placed the apple and told Ace to place the water next to it. I gently shook Izzy trying to wake her up.

In less then a second her arm shoots out and grabs my wrist. She removes her arm from her eyes and glares at me. He glare soon turning into a smile after seeing Ace.

"Hello Ace, what are you doing here?" She asked completely ignoring me.

"Mama and I brought you food and water" he said pointing to her bedside table where the water and apple sat.
