Chapter 12

Your POV

I stand a few steps away from everyone else. Thinking about the offer Kyle gave me.

"For the last round you have to wall sit" said Tom.

"Why wall sit?" Complained Izzy.

"You can forfeit if you want to" suggested Luke.

"Never" growled Izzy.

"Mommy," said Ace walking over to where I was standing "I'm tired"

"We can't go home yet honey," I said thinking of a way for him to sleep "do you want me to hold you so you can sleep?"

He hummed in response. I knelt down and he climbed up on my back and placed his arms around my neck closing his eyes.

"Ready, set, go" I hear Tom say as he put a time on his phone.

I walk over to where everything else was standing. I stand behind Tom, listening in to their conversation.

"So they somehow get into an argument every year over who has better abs?" Asked J-hope trying to make sense of all this.

"Yeah basically," replied Tom he looked over at me and saw a sleeping Ace "tired?"

"Yeah. I guess starting a lot of new things has worn him out" I explained.

"Then aren't you guys tired?" Asked Jin sounding like a mother.

"Yeah, but we know how to ignore it" I said.

"That's not very health" said Namjoon looking concerned.

"I know, but I will do anything to keep Ace happy" I said.

"But at the cost o-" V was cut off by my phone ringing.

I hand Ace over to Tom and walk over to where my phone sat. I pick it up and checked the caller. It read Emily. I hesitate before declining the call. I place my phone in my pocket, then walk back where everyone else was standing.

"Who was that?" Asked Tom.

"No one" I answered, not wanting to talk about it.

"Y/n, who was that?" Tom asked again.

"I said no one" I repeated

"If it's no one why don't you tell me" he persisted.

"Because it's not important" I said starting to get annoyed.

"Y/n, just tell me" demanded Tom.

"Why does it matter so much?" I said.

"I'm trying to help you, just tell me who called you" Tom said raising his voice.

I flinched slightly before looking him in the eye "Emily. Emily called me"

"Why would she call you?" Questioned Tom.

"I don't know, maybe Kyle told them where I am. Maybe he told them I'm considering going back" I shouted.

"YOU'RE CONSIDERING GOING BACK," yelled Tom "ARE YOU STUPID?"

"I said Kyle might have told them I'm going back. I never said I'm considering it" I said more calmly.

"Y/n if you get a call from anyone else, tell us straight away. Okay" said Izzy finding it hard to keep wall sitting.

"Fine" I said walking towards the door.

"Where do you think you're going?" Asked Tom sounding angry.

"For a walk" I said walking out the door.

Izzy's POV

"You really need to lay off her" I told Tom as he walks to a corner and placed Ace down, covering him with y/n's jacket.

"But he's doing it for her protection" said Luke.

"She hates being told what to do, trust me I'm a girl I should know" I said smugly.

"YOU'RE A GIRL" exclaimed Luke.

"Yes, yes I am" I replied.

"Is anyone else confused? Or is it just me?" Asked V.

"No, we're all confused" Yoongi said, agreeing with him.

"Who is Emily and who is y/n not going back to?" Asked Jimin.

Luke and Tom look straight at me. "People and stuff from her past. It's not important" I said.

"If you say so" said V unsure.

"On a different note, Tae I've seen you try to get close to my girl" I said smiling.

"First, what. Second your girl?" Asked Tae confused.

"Yes my girl, she's my wife and if you want her you will have to fight me" I said. My legs starting to hurt.

"You're strange Izzy" sighed Luke.

"Now that you mentioned it, Tae and y/n are getting close" agreed Jungkook.

"Kook you're supposed to be on my side" Taehyung complained.

"You're not denying it Tae" teased Jimin.

"Shut up, I'm just trying to make friends" he defended.

"Sure, just friends" said Luke laughing.

I took the opportunity and gave Luke a hard shove making him lost his balance and went crashing to the floor.

"HEY THAT'S NOT FAIR" Luke yelled from the floor.

"Street rules bro. Anything goes if its legal" I said while slowly sliding down the wall.

Your POV

I walk around the hallway for a few minutes before walking back to the gym. I open the door and see Luke yelling at Izzy while she laughs at him.

"I guess you won Izzy" I said walking over to her and helping her up, while Tom did the same to Luke.

"Hello wife. I did win are you proud of me?" She exclaimed.

"Good job Izz, I've never been more proud of my wife" I said smiling at her.

"Sooo like that, Isabel wins?" Asked Suga.

I see Izzy's cheeks tinted red "yeah basically" I answered.

I look around and see Ace sleeping in the corner, using my jacket as a blanket.

"Hey Namjoon, do you mind if I take Ace home?" I asked.

"I don't mind at all. Take V with you so you're not alone" he said while smirking over at said boy.

"Okay, let's go V" I said walking over to my son. I pick him up, being careful not to wake him up. I rest his head against my shoulder making sure to keep my jacket from falling off him.

I walk out of the gym and out the building with Taehyung following behind me.

When we got home I placed Ace in his bed then came back downstairs.

"So what do you wanna do?" I asked.

"Do you wanna watch a movie" suggested V.

"Yeah sure. You pick a movie and I'll go get some popcorn" I said.

I walk into the kitchen and find some microwave popcorn. I read the directions on the back before placing it into the microwave.

After the popcorn finished popping I place it into a bowl and walk back into the living room.

"What movie are we watching?" I asked.

"Beauty and the beast" said V with a smile.

We both sit down and put the movie on. Half way through the movie I started to get tired.

I close my eyes and let sleep take over me.
