Chapter 9

"Class dismissed. DO YOUR HOMEWORK." Their teacher warned before leaving the children who were excited to go home and watch videos all night long.

''Yeasung,'' Jongdae called the girl who was stuffing all her books into her bag. She turned to the boy and smiled.

''Wanna go somewhere with me?'' She smiled and closed the zipper of her bag.

''Sure, why not? Where are we going?''

''Arcade.'' Her face lit up of excitement when she hard the word.

''You're going without us?'' Baekhyun asked with pouted lips.

''Yes. Bye.'' Jongdae pulled the girl's arm an dragged her to the nearest arcade.

It was the only arcade in town but that doesn't mean it's boring in there. It was always packed with people wasting all their saving on playing games. Yeasung's favorite game is the claw game. Although, people may say that the claw is cheating, Yeasung always finds a way to annoy the arcade workers by getting all the stuffed animals.

''I'll pay for the coins since I'm nice'' She giggled and nodded. She watched him insert the bills into the machine and heard the sound of coins falling. He got the coins and gave everything to Yeasung because like he said, he was nice.

''Claw! Claw!'' She chanted and went to the machine. She looked inside, closely, and examined the toy's position. She got an imaginary light bulb and played the game with Jongdae beside her, waiting if she was actually good enough to get an animal-

''I got it!'' She cheered as the green stuffed dinosaur fell into the hole and into Yeasung's arms. She bragged it to Jongdae and smiled cheekily.

''I'll name it Chen, like you!''

''It looks handsome.'' He rubbed the toy's head and laughed.

''Photo booth. Let's take a photo together.'' He spitted out his idea and pushed her inside the small space.

''Move there. I'm probably out of the frame'' She laughed and moved a little for Jongdae to have some space.

''Let's go?''

''WAIT! MY HAIR!'' She screamed in Jongdae's ears and combed her shoulder-length hair with her fingers.

''You'll look ugly no matter what- ouch!'' He regretted teasing her and learned his lesson. They pressed the start button and the timer went down from ten.

He wrapped his arm around Yeasung's shoulder and leaned on her head, making her feel small. He did a peace sign while Yeasung smiled too hard that her eyes looked like she blinked in the photo because of her fluffy cheeks.

The next photo came and they quickly changed poses. They agreed to do a goofy picture so Yeasung crossed her eyes while Jongdae did a '( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)' face. She found it weird but he was already weird in the first place so she was used to it.

After 2 photos, Jongdae wanted to have a nice photo of them when they're acting all cute and aegyo so he forced her to do aegyo, with aegyo. Like what the ommi book says, 'you have to aegyo your way there'. Jongdae mentally thanked the old Jongdae and post cutely for the photo with Yeasung's forced pout.

And for the last photo, she thought that they would cup their faces for the photo, but she thought wrong. It felt like old Jongdae possessed, or took over Jongdae's body because he wasn't moving right. Just before the timer went to zero, he grabbed Yeasung's chin and forced her to look at him.

Yeasung looked at him in shock and back at the picture. Their faces were so close, but not too close. She sighed, both in relief and disappointment.
