Chapter Six:

I yawned loudly as Professor Ichi stood in front of the class, explaining how to add and subtract whole numbers. I am so tired. How am I even suppose to function with only two hours of sleep? I sighed in annoyance. Professor turned to look at me. I yawned again and placed my head on the desk. Maybe if I close my eyes a little bit, I could get a little shut eye.

"MISS FUJIMOTO." Professor Ichi bellowed. I sat up so fast I cracked my neck. I make a face and blink my eyes a couple of times. Everyone in class chuckles. Hansuke is staring at me. He looks worried. I shake my head.

"I'm sorry Senpai. I am so tired, I didn't get any sleep." I muttered. He shrugs his shoulders.

"That's too bad, you know the rules. There is no sleeping in class, so, make it work and stay awake." He says. I whimper. Could I just go home?

Once the bell rings Hansuke walks over to me and offers me a protein bar. I look at him. He's smiling.

"Thanks," I say, taking it and taking a bite. It tastes like chocolate chip cookies. We walk out of class together and he slides his bag closer on his shoulder.

"No problem, rough time last night?" He questions. I shrug my shoulders.

"Yeah, I only got at least like two hours of sleep. UGH. So much more school to do," I whispered. Hansuke stood in front of me and I yawned.

"You'll be okay. I know you will." He says, hugging me tightly. We stand there awkwardly. He feels warm. He smells like soap. He lets me go and starts walking off. I'm still standing there, feeling awkward but pretty warm.

In history class I sit in the back and put my head down. I hear the chair besides me squeak back and someone drops their bag next to me. I keep my head down, maybe they don't like talking to people.

"Good morning Miss Fujimoto." His deep voice whispers into my ear. I groan and he chuckles. "The polite way would have been for you to say, good morning Mister Oshiro." He says, smirking. I sit up and yawn very loudly.

"What do you want Naozumi?" I asked. He clicks his tongue.

"Is that anyway to talk to the person who took the fall for you?" He questioned. I narrow my eyes at him.

"Like I told you last night, I didn't need you to protect me. I can handle myself." I growled. He sits up and smirks.

"Spunk, I like that." I groan and drop my head onto the desk again. Aina walks over to us and claps her hand. I close my eyes really tight.

"Naozumi, why don't you come sit up in front with us?" She questions. He waves an hand in her face.

"Don't you see me busy here?" She narrows her eyes at me. I make a face and sit up as our teacher comes out and starts talking.

"Everyone take a seat!" She calls. I wave her off as she turns away from us. Naozumi smiles at me. I try my best to ignore him.

Around lunch, I find a table by myself and curl into a ball and take a nap. It's about forty five minutes in each class, lunch is an extra fifteen minutes so I take that chance to catch up on some sleep. No one seems to notice me, curled on top of the table, sleeping soundly. The chatter in the cafeteria is quite peaceful.

Katio's POV~

"Yeah, so. Has anyone seen the new black butler? Like, season two, cause I haven't." I say, squirting ketchup on my fries. My friend Haruki shrugs his shoulders.

"Oh, I have. Season two is great. In the end Ciel beco-" Aina starts.

"Why is Himawari lying on top of the table?" Kaisho asked. I turn back and stare at Himawari sleeping. She looks so happy. She wiggles her nose and yawns.

"She's been a bit off today." Aina says, taking a sip of her chocolate milk.

"Why is that?" I asked. She shrugs.

"Hell if I know. I don't even care." She says. I stand up and walk over to the table. Kaisho follows me.

"Uh, dude. What are you gonna do?" Kaisho asked. I shrug my shoulders.

"I don't know, we shouldn't just leave her here, ya know? Sleeping on tables." I say. He watches as I walk over to her.

-------------------------------------------------------------

"No no Kaisho. Don't touch me there." I muttered. Katio covers his mouth to keep from laughing. "No no no Hansuke, I can't go on a date with you. I like Kaisho." I shout. Kaisho watches in shock. He reaches to touch me but Katio smacks his hand away. He puts a finger to his lips, telling Kaisho to be quiet. He walks over to my ear and smiles.

"But Himawari, I want to touch you. I want to touch you right there." He whispered. Kaisho's mouth drop.

"Dude, stop!" He shouts. I smile and sigh.

"I love you," I whispered. Katio bursts out laughing and my eyes fly open. I sit up fast and scream. Katio covers my mouth. I stare around the cafeteria. Everyone is sorta looking at me.

"Hey, you okay?" Katio whispers. I squirm out of his hand and glare at him.

"What were you laughing at? Why were you at my table? Go the fuck away!" I shout. He lets me go and I grab my things and run out of the cafeteria. Kaisho is standing there, shocked. Katio can't stop smiling.

"I wonder where she wouldn't let you touch her at." He whispered. Kaisho shoves him.

"That wasn't cool Katio. She's really upset." He says. He walks out of the cafeteria.

After school, I hurry to my locker and grab my things to head home. Kira is waiting for me outside. I don't want to see Kaisho or Katio or Hansuke or Naozumi. I slam my locker and start to head towards the front doors when I run into Kaisho. He stands there, looking at me. I try to turn away but he's already walking towards me. I groan quietly to myself. Why didn't I leave quick enough?

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked, shoving his hands into his pockets. He looks really nice today. Today his hair looks a bit messy and his blue eyes are tired. I shrug my shoulders.

"I'm okay. Are you okay?" He chuckles and I let the smallest smile appear on my face.

"I'm okay, I just wanted to make sure you were okay. I'm really sorry about my brother at lunch. He loves messing with people." He mutters. I shrug my shoulders again.

"It's whatever, I kinda deserved that, sleeping in the cafeteria like that." I say, my face turning pink. Kaisho laughs and smiles at me. God, his smile is gonna be the death of me. My heart is pounding.

"You didn't deserve that, and I just wanted to apologize on my brothers part." He says. I nod quickly and look down at my arm at the watch that isn't there.

"I have to walk my brother home. I'll see you at school tomorrow, right?" I asked. Kaisho smiles and nods.

"Yeah, get some sleep tonight." He teases. I roll my eyes and walk off. He stands there, watching me. He had this look on his eye like he wanted to say something to me, but he didn't.

"Ya know? Sometimes you'll gonna regret leaving me out here all alone after school hours." Kira says, glaring at me. I groan and squeeze my ears shut.

"Ya know, instead of being a whiny bitch Kira, you could walk home yourself." I say. He makes a face and I sigh. "C'mon, let's go home. I need some sleep." I muttered. We walk in silence and it has never felt so good.
