"Call me when you get home safe, okay?" Phoebe said, pulling the blonde into a bone-crushing hug. The group of actors had stayed at the restaurant until the final minutes before closing, leaving only the moon and the occasional street lamp to lighten the parking lot.

"Of course," Arabella replied, wrapping her arms tightly around her friend, almost not wanting to let go. They soon pulled apart, and the woman embraced the rest of her friends with the same amount of force - or 'love,' as she would call it.

"Night, Jo-Mo," she spoke into Joseph's shoulder, before pulling away. It was always hard saying goodbye, not knowing when she'd see her friends again. Between their busy work schedule and Arabella's chaotic life, it was always a gamble. "Bye, guys," she said with a half-smile and a wave before turning around and walking to her car.

Arabella smiled to herself as she opened the door and plopped onto the leather seats. Just as she was about to pull out of the parking spot, her phone rang. With a raise of her eyebrows, she answered. "Hello?"

"Hi, Arabella, it's Julie!" the other line chirped. Her eyes suddenly widened with interest at why Julie Plec, her former boss, would be calling her at almost midnight.

"Hey, how are you, Julie?" she replied, a soft chuckle escaping her lips.

"I'm great! Do you have a minute to talk?" Julie inquired with a strange hint of enthusiasm. It weirded Arabella out, that's for sure.

"Yeah, I think I have a few good minutes left before I get kicked out of this parking lot," she replied.

"Alright," Julie said before taking a subtle breath of air. "So, our writers are well into writing the script for season two of The Originals, as you know from the addition of Riley to the cast. Me, along with the rest of our producers and directors, have been talking and . . . we think that a reappearance of your character would fit in beautifully, especially since this season will be so difficult for Klaus. He needs his best friend! We'd really love to have you back, if you're willing," Julie yelped merrily. You could almost feel the smile on her face

Arabella's heart suddenly raced and her eyes bulged from their sockets. "I - I don't know what to say," she replied incredulously, another nervous chuckle following in tow.

"You don't have to say anything right now, just take a few days to think about it," the executive producer stated, understandingly.

The younger girl exhaled. "I promise I will. Really, thank you so much."

"Of course, sweetie," Julie replied. "I also heard you're leaving the hundred. Is everything okay?"

"Yeah, yeah, everything's fine," Arabella said, forcing out her signature chuckle once more. "It's just family stuff. You know how it is."

"Absolutely. Well, I'm always here for you, Ara. Everyone is."

"Thanks, Julie -  and thank you again for the offer. I promise I'll let you know."

"Don't stress. Take your time," the woman reassured. "I'll see you soon."

With that, the call was over, and Arabella's heart floated up to her throat. "What . . . the . . . fuck."
