X Part Five X

I was done packing and put my stuff by the door of my room. I walked to my bed and layed down and tears rolled down my face.

I woke up the next morning and grabbed my bags and walked down stairs, Duke looked at me and smiled. I always seemed to be the only half human around I though.
"Grad any last stuff because were leaving to get you a new home" he said walking to the door, I nodded taking, my last looks at the house. When I looked at the door Duke was already at his car, I moved towards the door and slowly left closing the door behind me. I got in the backseat, only because I don't like being around people. We drove and drove, Until the car stopped.
"We already had a place to have you move to just encase anything happened to Sam" he said getting out, I opened the car door grabbing my stuff. Duke walked to the door and knocked and the door opened, a lady opened the door with black hair. She smiled looking at me, still by the car. Duke motioned me to go over, I slowly walked over keeping my distance between people.
"Hello Hakai, come in, I'm Nicole" she said my eyes grew with fear of going into a place I don't know.
"Hakai has trauma like I told you he needs time to adjust, you can't have sharp objects around him or touch him, and keep your distance until he warms up" Duke said as she nodded moving inside for I can walk in, I walked in. A half human dog with black ears and hair came down stairs and I jumped, he stopped in his place.
"That's Avery, and Avery this is the boy I was telling you about" she said and walked towards Avery and said something I couldn't hear, he nodded.
"Avery will show you your room while I talk to Duke" she said as I nodded and Avery walked up stairs, I followed. He passed two door and stopped I stopped about 5 or 6 feet away from him.
"T-this is your room" he said entering the room, I followed still keeping my distance. I looked around seeing a bed in the corner, a night stand, and a cabinet.
"Well can you t-talk" he then quickly added "I mean if you want I won't make you" he said before I said anything.
"I-I c-can, s-sorry " I said as he smiled.

~Night~

I seen the man standing over me, blood leaking off a knife in his hand. I looked away seeing Sam fade away.
I woke up out of breath crying, the door opened as Avery walked in. He stood there and closed the door.
"A-are you okay" Avery asked his ears floppily down. I looked at him and tears in my eyes formed once again.
"N-no" Avery looked down about to walked to me but stopped.
"H-how can I help" he said I looked at him and shrugged.
"N-no one can h-help" I said hugging my knees.
"Do you want me to stay here for awhile" Avery asked I nodded, and sat on the floor.

~Morning~

I heard the door open and got up the door shut silently, I looked on the floor and Avery fell asleep last night here. He sat up rubbing his eyes, it was cute I thought.
He looked at me.
"S-sorry, I fell asleep" I smiled and nodded.
"I-its fine" I said as he smiled.
