Yamamoto Takeshi was happy. He was always smiling and laughing with his peers. He was a cheerful and carefree boy. He was all the girls could ask for as a boyfriends. He was all the boys could ask for as a pal.
Expect he wasn't. He didn't want to smile or laugh but he did. He wasn't really cheerful or carefree, it's just a facade. He wasn't all the girls could ask for, because he wasn't that person. He wasn't all the boys could ask for, because it was all fake. Because he could see through them. Because he knew they were just using him.
Because the Yamamoto Takeshi that everyone knew and loved, never existed.

"This is the new training regime for you and Hayato-kun!" After the next week of training, Kyoko had gained permission to call Hayato by his first name, due to her being the manager of their little group and the fact that she issues the training. Tsuna looked at it as he and Hayato regained their breath. "3 laps around the building, 75 push-ups, 150 sit-ups, 100 squats, Planking for 3.5 minutes, Balancing on one leg for 20 minutes. I've also added a 10 minute period of going through your own basics. Dismissed!" Hayato and Tsuna started to walk one way and Hana and Kyoko walked the other.
"Juudaime, to be able to keep up with training like this for two weeks! You're amazing!" Tsuna sweatdropped as Hayato seemingly grew puppy ears and a tail, as he looked at him with a big smile and admiring eyes. "I've been meaning to ask this for a while but..." He looked at Hayato, signaling him to carry on. "Why did you hate dance? You mentioned it whilst fighting that prick." Suddenly, Tsuna stopped walking and looked at the floor. Seeing this, Hayato frantically waved. "Never mind! Don't answer that!"
"I'll tell you."

With Hayato"Juudaime..." Hayato sat on his couch. He couldn't stop looking at the ceiling fan as he remembered what happened with his Juudaime. That's it! He'll do anything to make sure he'll never go through anything like it!

With TakeshiTakeshi yawned as he made his way to school. Once again, he tried to study everything in hopes of getting smarter. But nothing seemed to help. All he had... was baseball.
He looked at his hand, contemplating if he should practice more baseball or study. Right after, Takeshi shook his head and decided to think about it on the way home. After all, he needs to pay attention in lesson. Or else.
As soon as he entered school, people flocked around him and he didn't even flinch. Instead, he grinned and let them drag him around. This was the only way. The only way to make up for his stupidness. The only way to keep popularity.
The only way to have friends- fake for not.
Somehow, he managed to get through them and enter his class. Immediately, his gaze lifted from the fake friends to a certain brunet. Sawada Tsunayoshi. Takeshi had always been in the same class as Tsuna. And the first time he spoke to him, his curiosity about him skyrocketed. Because he was the only one. The only one to tell him those words. Those three words. So short yet had such a big impact.
And since then, Takeshi would always stare at Tsuna. He noticed something about Tsuna. He was so much different from the others.
Tsuna never forced a smile at him. When he did, it was a true smile. Tsuna never discriminated someone. He always took the time to see who they were first. Tsuna didn't care about what people thought about him. All the time, he had a face that said 'Fuck Off'. And it was the most amazing thing Takeshi had ever seen.
One more thing. Tsuna, like all others, used to be passionate about dance. But unlike others, he begun to despise it in his first year of middle school (they're in high school). And that just made Takeshi even more curious.
Two weeks ago, Tsuna started to hang out with Hana and Kyoko. Then, two days ago, Hayato started hanging around Tsuna. Maybe... Maybe he could...
Takeshi was snapped out of his thoughts by Osamu. He was that one annoying guy in class.
Osamu had an ugly face and an annoying attitude. Though he was lazy and laid-back, he would hate on others as if they were beneath them, even though he has one of the worst grades in their class. Even Takeshi was better than him. Osamu liked to 'bully' specific people. Well, I say 'bully' but I mean 'attempt to bully them but get roasted the hell out of'. He preferred to target people like: KUROKAWA HANA, SAWADA TSUNAYOSHI and freaking YAMAMOTO TAKESHI. Yes. That's how retarded he is. Obviously, this automatically earned him a lot of hate.
"Oi, Yamamoto." Takeshi, as did many others, looked at the poor, poor soul. "Have fun trying to climb to next grade?" Immediately, he froze with his grin still planted. Hearing this, the class was about to tell at Osamu but someone had stopped them.
"Oi bastard," Osamu and everyone else looked at Tsuna, who had a lazy smirk on his face and judging eyes, "have fun scraping the dirt on the lowest floor?" He attempted to glare at Tsuna but Tsuna glared back. "Oh wait, what the hell do you know about hard work?" Putting up a thinking face, Tsuna rubbed his chin, making Hayato smirk, Kyoko giggle and Hana grin. "That's right!" Tsuna hit his fist on an open palm. He titlt his head cutely and smiled with his eyes closed. "You don't know anything!"
The classroom burst into laughter at the comment. Osamu furrowed his eyebrows and yelled at Tsuna.
"Shut up, Dame-Tsuna!" Dame-Tsuna. That's what they used to call Tsuna when due to him never dancing. It's just a little tradition. Whoever didn't dance, couldn't. It's like an unspoken rule.
Hayato blinked and looked at Hana for answers, not knowing anything seeing as he joined two days ago.
"It's what they used to call Tsunayoshi because he never danced. They assumed he couldn't until just recently. Two weeks ago actually." Hana crossed her arms and glared at Mochida. How dare he use that name again? Almost everyone else had the same reaction. Was Osamu really this dumb? "Of course, no one approves of this any longer. Not even the cheating monkey." Hayato glared at Osamu and stalked up to him.
"Oi," Osamu gulped at the danger Hayato was eminating. "say that again and I'll rip out your tongue." He shrunk in comparison to Hayato, eyes wide. Takeshi had a feeling Hayato was just sticking up for his Juudaime, but he also had a feeling Tsuna had been sticking up for him too.

Takeshi ran up to Tsuna as the bell sounded for lunch.
"Hey, Tsuna!" Tsuna tilt his head towards Takeshi then turned around. "Thanks!" He hit Tsuna's back, irking Hayato slightly.
"Watch it, baseball-freak!" Hayato had done some research on the people who don't dance, therefore finding Yamamoto Takeshi. And he found that Takeshi was more into baseball.
Despite the threat, Takeshi just laughed it off.
Just then, Kyoko called for Hayato and he relentently agreed.
"O-Oi!" It seems, Osamu used this chance (That Hayato had left) to bully the two. "Can't fight your own fights?" Tsuna deadpanned as Takeshi cocked his head. "Maybe you should do the same with your grades!"
"Maybe..." they looked at Tsuna, "you shoukd fuck off and mind your own damned buisness." After that, Hayato came in sight and Osamu scrammed. Tsuna looked at the frozen Takeshi on concern. Suddenly, Takeshi ran off, pissing Hayato off. Hayato was about to yell at Takeshi but Tsuna gave him a look.
'Don't. He can't help it.'
