Ralph got out of the car once they were at Target, waiting for everyone else. Kara eventually pulled up into the parking lot, helping everyone out of the car.
Gavin linked arms with Connor, smiling like a dork. He must really enjoy Target. Ralph watched as everyone talked, and laughed, walking into Target.
Ralph hadn't been to many big stores, so he was happy he got to experience one with his friends.
"Okay! We will split into groups of three. North, you're with Luther and I, Jerry, Simon and Ralph will all go together, and Connor, Gavin, and Simon will go together aswell. And we will meet up by the cash registers at 9:30." Kara smiled and then walked off with North and Luther.
They had 30 minutes to do whatever they wanted. Connor, Gavin and Simon walked over to the clothes, and Jerry, Ralph, and Markus started to head towards the kids toys section, because nothing is more fun than the kids toy section in Target.
Markus ended up with a shark plush on his head, Jerry with a horse mask on, and Ralph holding a pixelated sword. Jerry took a photo on his phone, posting it, then sending it to Ralph and Markus.
They all met up later at the cash registers, North buying a hat with a rainbow on it and Gavin buying a pink flowy crop-top. Ralph could tell by Connor's blush that he couldn't wait to see Gavin in it.
Ralph walked to the car with Jerry, Simon, and Markus, getting in and getting buckled. They all talked about their experience at Target, Simon talking about how madly in love Connor and Gavin are with each other.
They got back to Kara's house, getting out of the car and walking inside. Everyone was in the basement, getting changed into their pajamas one by one in the small bathroom in the basement.
Ralph grabbed his pajamas, waiting for his turn to change. He finally changed, walking out in a hoodie and loose shorts. Jerry blushed, looking down to hide it.
"Awe, oh my gosh Ralph, you're adorable." North commented, smiling with her hands against her face in an "awe" sort of way. Kara nodded her head in agreement.
"I think we all should get to bed. I want to go somewhere tomorrow with you all, but we have to wake up early to get there." Kara said, yawning and laying back on her mattress. Luther laid down as well, holding onto a Kara that was nestled into his chest. North turned the light off, leaving the bathroom light on, just incase anyone needed to find it.
Connor and Gavin both cuddled into each other, looking like a tangled mess of legs and arms, yet, it was still cute. Simon and Markus laid down, their backs touching as they fell asleep. Finally, Jerry laid down and Ralph laid down as well, on the complete opposite side of the mattress. He then fell asleep, but it wasn't a peaceful one.

"When you told me you liked someone, i was expecting a cute girl to walk through the door! Instead you bring a boy home! You know you're going to hell for this. Where all of you faggots go." Ralph's mom hissed, with pure anger. Ralph looked down, starting to cry.
"Why are you crying? Afraid of the truth are you? You shouldn't be afraid of the truth. But I will show you what to be afraid of, the consequences of wanting to be with someone of the same sex. Come with me." Ralph's mom grabbed his arm, pulling him towards the kitchen. Ralph screamed out in protest, grabbing his arm and trying to yank it away from his mom, but he couldn't.
"You disgust me." She grabbed him by the face, bringing it close to hers. "You will never be my son." And with those words, She grabbed a pot of boiling water and held it up to Ralphs face. "Now, you will suffer the consequences, of sinning."
"No! No mom! Dont! Dont hurt me!" Ralph screamed, tears streaming down his face.
"Dont call me mom." The woman said, and slowly poured the boiling water onto Ralphs face.
"NO! ST- STOP!-

"STOP!!" Ralph screamed out, bolting upright on the mattress, in a cold sweat. Ralph was shaking, and he pulled his knees up to his chest, lowering his head into them and started crying. Jerry bolted upright as well, due to the scream, and looked over, seeing Ralph.
"R-Ralph? Are you okay?" He placed his hand on Ralphs shoulder and Ralph pulled back, looking up from his knees. Ralph saw who it was. Jerry. Not the woman who hurt him. Ralph sniffled. He really needed someone to hold on to. And he really wanted Jerry to be his comfort.
Ralph started crying, hugging Jerry tightly, crying into his shirt. He was basically in Jerry's lap, but he didn't care. He just needed someone to be there for him. Jerry wrapped him arms around Ralph, holding onto him tightly. He laid his chin on Ralphs head, stroking his back.
"Ralph? Whats wrong? Why are you crying?" Jerry asked softly, still holding onto Ralph. Ralph told Jerry the whole nightmare, then the whole story.
By the end, Ralph was crying, nestling into Jerry again. Jerry gently picked up Ralph's face, and smiled.
"Ralph, she cant hurt you anymore. No one will ever hurt you, ever, because I'm here to protect you. I'll always be here for you Ralph." Jerry then brought Ralphs face up close to his, he wanted to kiss the boy, showing that he would protect him, but to show him, that he loved him for who he was.
Ralph looked up at Jerry as he pulled their faces closer. He never truly thought he loved Jerry, even though the signs had been obvious, and he loved him even more knowing that he could trust Jerry and that he would always be there for him.
Jerry let go of Ralphs face, pulling him close by the waist and holding his other hand. He leaned in and gently gave Ralph a kiss.
Ralph's eyes instantly fluttered closed as their lips connected. The kiss felt like safety to Ralph, but also felt like passion and love. They pulled away from each other, Jerry laying down and pulling Ralph next to him. He stroked Ralph's hair and whispered sweet things in Ralph's ear as the boys fell asleep.
Nothing was ever going to hurt Ralph, ever again.
