Chapter 5 | The Others

Laury started to walk down the hall as she was pulled into an abandoned room, it was dark. Laury could see one face, the person that pulled her into the room in the first place. "It's okay, don't be scared of me." An Australian voice came from the darkness, he came out of the darkness to the point where you could only see his face. "W-who are you?" Laury said almost hesitating. "My name is Aaron, and I'm just like you." He said turning on a light. Laury thought to herself 'he's a wolf like me, but I've never seen him around before' Aaron pat her head, "This is a safe place to be, when your like us" Aaron said. "Us?" Laury questioned him considering there were just the two of them in the room. "Oh there are more of us, just not all wolves. Guys it's safe to come out!" Aaron yelled. Three people came out of a dark spot of the room. "You brought a human in here?!" A neko boy screamed. "She's not a human!" Aaron yelled back. Laury put down her hood. "I'm a white tailed werewolf actually." Laury said. The neko boy got close to Laury and said "What's your name, Shorty?". Laury sat down at one of the desks, "My name is Laury." The neko boy replied with "Nice to meet you Laury, my name is Ace!" Ace put out his hand. Laury grabbed onto his hand and shook it, "Nice to meet you too, Ace!" Laury replied. Aaron interrupted them, "I'm the leader here!" He had a cute grin on his face. "Yeah, yeah show off." A girl wolf came from one of the corners, "The names Sakora.". Laury stood up, "Eh, I'm so short compared to all of you!" Laury said. "Also why is Aaron leader?" Laury said as she walked over to Sakora, "Because he is a ultima" Sakora said. Sakora leaned down and whispered in Laury's ear, "He's been looking for the perfect wolf to mark, so look out." Sakora stood back up. "Sakora what did you tell her?!" Aaron said as his eyes turned red. "Nothing, Laury you can come here everyday. Instead of going to your normal classes!" Sakora said hugging Laury. Laury's face turned red and her ears went down. "Sakora to tight!" Laury was barely able to make out any words. Aaron walked over and pulled Laury out of Sakora's hands and he hugged her, also patting her on her head. "Your bring to rough with her Sakora!" Aaron yelled at Sakora. They continued arguing until ace stood up and said
"Would you two stop!". Aaron stood up holding Laury closer to him, "Sakora, I you hurt her I will ban you from the pack.." Aaron said. Laury being as close as she could to Aaron her face started to turn red. "A-Aaron t-to c-close..." Laury said as her face turned even more red. "Heh. Sorry sweetie" Aaron said letting go of Laury.
