Evi's pov
"I'm sorry" I said to my mom. I decided to apologize because I didn't want to come home seeing mom mad and dad upset.

"It's okay"

"I'm sorry for slapping you"

"I just don't know what I do wrong" she said.

"You act like a teacher more than a mom" I said.

"All you talk about is school grades and future"

"You never bother asking how my day was or if I'm making friends" I said.

"I'll try" she said.

"Everyone's moms take their daughter outside to spend time with them but you never have time for me" I said.

"I'm sorry sweetie I didn't know you felt this way. I will try my best to change I promise" she said hugging me.

"Thank you" I said hugging her back.

"Now let's drop you off to school" she said smiling.

I nodded.

I got to school and quickly went to my locker someone came next to me opening there locker.

I never looked to see who's locker was beside mine. I closed my locker to see Xavier. I literally see this guy everywhere.

"Hey" I said as I put my stuff inside my bag. He ignored me.

"I'm talking to you" I said.

He put his things in his bag and then faced me.

"I know, its called ignoring. That's what I'm doing"

"Why"

"What happened yesterday, doesn't change anything"

"Well sorry for thinking it did" I said walking away.

I entered class and sat next to Adela.

"Hey I missed you" she said I smiled.

"I missed you too"

"What's going on with you and Xavier"

"Nothing" I said.

"You sure"

"Yeah"

"Okay"

The bell rang and as usual everyone came.

Throughout class Alex kept turning around to talk to Adela as they made inappropriate jokes.

"Oh guys I'm having a party tonight you all are invited" said Alex.

"I don't go to parties"

"Well you're coming to mine, please I'm your friend" he pouted.

"Evi's too boring and dull to go to a party" Xavier said I glared at him.

"You know what I'll come" I said.

"Yes" Adela said.

Xavier rolled his eyes.

"Do you have a dress" Adela asked.

"Yeah it's blue and it goes down to my ankle" I smiled.

She looked at me shaking her head.

"You'd coming over to my house" she said.

"Why"

"No questions just come" she said
