Back on Nivedellir

Thor and Rocket were trying to help with making the weapon, by waking up the Neutron star. They set off in a pod, Eitri gave them communication devices that Pidge had offered, so that they could keep in touch, just in case.

Eitri: I don't think you get the scientifics here. These rings are gigantic. You wanna get them moving....you're going to need something to yank 'em loose.

Thor: Leave that to me.

Rocket: Leave it to you? How are you going to find something big enough? We're out here in space! And all you have is a rope and a-

He was then cut off by Thor jumping out of the pod and tying the rope to one side of the rings, hoping they could try and open it up. Once he did he yelled at Rabbit....

Thor: Fire up the engines!

The rings were slightly moving apart, slightly opening.

Thor: More power rabbit!

The rings fully opened.

Eitri: Well done, boy....

Lance and Pidge were gawking and asking Eitri some questions....

Lance: How can stay out in space for that long!?

Pidge: Without any sort of protection?!

Eitri just gives them a small knowing smile, and says

Eitri: Simple. He is a God.

That either might've answered their questions or opened even more questions. Nonetheless, they decided to shut their mouths as they didn't think the questions would help in the current situation.  

Rabbit-I mean Rocket was just admiring the Neutron star, his eyes glistening with excitement as Thor comes back in the pod, he looks in the direction of where Rocket was looking and just smiles and says.....

Thor: That. That's Nivedellir....

They finally come back to ground, where Eitri wound forge the metal into a weapon

Eitri: Dammit.

Thor: What do you mean, 'dammit'?

The rings start to close, as Thor's nose twitches in frustration.

Eitri: The mechanism is crippled.....

Thor: What?

Eitri: With the iris closed, I won't be able to heat the metal....

Thor: How long will it take to heat it?

Eitri: A few minutes....why?

Thor: I'm going to hold it open....

Eitri: That's suicide...

Thor: So is facing Thanos without that axe.

With Pidge and Lance curious out of their minds as to what Eitri was talking about 'suicide', it made them remember Keith nearly sacrificing himself.....

Pidge: What's suicide?

Eitri sighs

Eitri: He's going to hold the iris open

Lance and Pidge: What!?

Lance: That's insane!

Pidge: Even for a 'God'!

Thor looks back at them, he opened his mouth to speak but then quickly shut to carry on what he was about to do.....he didn't want to make any promises, but he was determined to not let anyone else down.

Outside Wakanda

Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive had tracked down Vision and Wanda, like always they never wanted to let their 'father' down. They brought some interesting aliens, they were called the 'Outriders' mindless creatures, basically 'Space dogs'. They were sent to assault Wakanda in hopes to retrieve the Mind Stone. But Steve and the rest didn't know that....yet.

In Wakanda

Bruce was currently in Tony's hulk buster armour, everyone; Sam, Rhodey, Steve, T'Challa, Widow and the rest of the Wakandan tribes; they were traveling closer to the force field and cloaking field to maybe negotiate with Proximan Midnight.

Steve: How we looking, Bruce?

Bruce: Yeah, I think I'm getting the hang of this....

He then starts running with everyone else, in the same direction.

Bruce: Wow, this is amazing!

He starts leaping

Bruce: It's like being the Hulk without actually being-

Bruce trips and falls face flat, everyone gives him sympathetic glances while Okoye grits her teeth.

Bruce: I'm okay, I'm alright....eheh heh.....

Okoye: I hope you know what you're doing....

She mutters, not really wanting anyone else, except herself to hear.

Rhodey: I've got two heat signatures breaking through the tree line!

He says flying above with Sam. Steve and T'Challa makes their way to the front of the force field, to talk with Proxima Midnight.

Steve: Thank you for standing with us....

Proxima Midnight: Where's your other friend?

She then smirks

Proxima Midnight: You're going to pay his life with yours...

Her expression turned into fury....

Proxima Midnight: Thanos will have that Stone....

Steve: That's not going to happen.

T'Challa: You're in Wakanda now.....Thanos will have nothing but dust and blood....

Proxima Midnight: We have blood to spare.

Proxima Midnight then retreats, having Steve and T'Challa run back to their stations. From above Sam and Rhodey could kind of see what Proxima Midnight was going to do but they weren't sure....

Sam: They surrender?

Steve: Not exactly...

He answered Sam on his communicator. Then suddenly they saw aliens.....the Outriders, they were piling up at the front of the force field.

Bucky: What the hell?

Natasha: Looks like we pissed her off....
