Annie's POV

Finally my wish had come true, I got my acceptance letter. I get the tour of The White House, I was on a cloud nine. I just couldn't believe my eyes, plus I had enough money to leave and everything had been packed and ready to move.

After selling most of my stuff, I had packed the rest in a back pack. It was the beginning of an adventure. Waiting for the next morning to arrive I had the most beautiful dream ever. My heart said that this would be the beginning of a new life for me.

Grant's POV

I could feel my heart beat, this was happening more and more. There were waves of emotions churning inside me, my world was about to change for better. The dreams were about to come true. I just couldn't understand how and where. The world I knew was about to transform into the my own dream world.

Visiting Mrs.O'Hare more often, I kept telling her about how my feelings were making me crazy every second. She was my favorite person in the whole world. Also the painting on her wall kept reminding of someone I have been waiting for, it seemed as if she might walk in any moment. The flame that represented her hair in the painting kept reminding me of the flame burning in my heart, the beautiful meadow leaves depicting her eyes reminded me of the peace I would find her, the petals forming her lips, made my own lips twitch in anticipation. She was my dream, but now my heart says she is not just a dream but a reality.

Annie's POV

Reaching Washington, I couldn't tear my eyes from the high arched ceiling of the airport. The lights, the cafes, the stores. The hustle bustle of the busy airport. The crisp summer air greeted me. I stepped on the sunny curb and hiring a taxi to a cheap motel, I was lost in the city views. I had hardly ever been away from Utah, the city was so attractive and busy. I felt like a butterfly crawling out of a cocoon. It was a beautiful day to check the most beautiful city.

The motel was entirely different story though. It was sad and old. What was I expecting at such low rates. Anyways I was just using it to freshen up and sleep. I was not going to stay indoors. My tour was scheduled the next morning, I had a whole day to explore the city. I picked my favorite white shirt with a baby blue bow on the hip pairing it with blue jeans, I was about to step out but stopped. I was not just exploring the city, I was exploring myself too. I stepped back in front of the rusty framed mirror and added a long gold colored chain and emerald ear rings, pulling my red hair out of the rubber band holding it place I checked my self again. Though my hair seemed to be on fire, which had always made me hate them. Who has such red hair, blame my Irish roots. HuH!! Well I can dye them some day, some hair dresser I am. I stepped out.

Roaming around the city, I reached the Tidal Basin, a 2 mile long pond that was once attached to the Potomac river. There were several Cherry trees along the path that led to the basin, as it spring they had still not blossomed. I'll view the cherry blossoms once in my life, I know I'll. There were several paddle boats available, hiring one I went on a blissful boat ride. It was late afternoon and my stomach was grumbling loudly, I had skipped my breakfast in the excitement. Returning the boat I asked the owner if he knew any good cozy Irish restaurants and he suggested Vikings, hiring a taxi I went to the Irish place suggested and for some strange reason had butterflies in my stomach.

Little did I know my life was about to turn around.
