I wake up the next morning to find Michael's bed empty and made. He must have already gotten up for breakfast. Knowing I'm going to be late, I sit up and get changed. After brushing my teeth, I make my way to the cafeteria.

The boys are already sitting at a circle table. "Hey," I greet as I sit in between Calum and Luke. Calum is holding onto Ketchup and Luke's cheek has a bandage plastered on it.

Calum greets me back with a smile. Luke follows suit. Michael says nothing. "How was your first night here?" Luke asks with a mischevious smile. "Hear any screams?"

I shake my head and chuckle softly. "No, surprisingly, it was pretty quiet."

"Morning, boys!" Ella greets happily as she sits with us. Her smile brightens when her eyes lay onto me. I return the smile.

"Who's this?" She asks curiously. At first I think she's talking about someone else, so I look around until I realize... She's talking about me... I look to the boys searching for answers, but they all avoid my eyes. Ella isn't a volunteer nurse... She's a patient...

I stare blankly at her with my mouth wide open. Why didn't anyone tell me?

"I'm Ashton," I say quietly and hold out my hand to her. Ella smiles brightly and shakes it.

"I'm Angela, but the boys call me Ella." I know...

"Ella? I think Ketchup is hungry," Calum quickly interjects. Ella nods and walks off with Ketchup in her arms.

"Thanks for playing along," Luke says quietly once Ella is out of sight. "We don't want to scare her." I slowly nod.

"What happened to her?" All the boys shrug.

"Not exactly sure. She just showed up one day, but she didn't know what was going on," Calum explained. "She has short term memory loss. Everyday is a new day for her."
