Chapter 2: Last name

Arisa POV

"Oi, Arisa!" I heard my name called out and turned around and see Heath.

"Good morning." I said with a smile.

"Gosh, just saying your name makes me uncomfortable." Heath said. I turned my head towards him and tilted my head. "Why?"

"Well, as you know, I usually say people last name instead of there first name." Heath exclaimed. I nodded.

"Why didn't you say your last name?" Heath asked.

"You'll be surprised." I said.

"Surprised? What? No I'm not going to be surprised. Just tell me." Heath said.

"Fine whatever you say. My last name is..."

"Riku!" I shouted as I jump on his back.

"Ahh, Arisa. You're choking me." Riku say as he hit my arm. I giggled and got off. Riku and me got pretty close after the first day of joining the Stride club. We got lot in common and eventually got close.

"Yagami, let's go." Takeru grabbed Riku shirt and dragged him away from me. Yagami? As in the real Yagami? Wait, brother? Tomoe has a brother?! How come I didn't notice that when I was a fan? Ugh, that guy is really something.

"Oi, Fujiwara! I can walk on my own feet." Riku shouted and struggle out of Takeru grip.

"You're too slow." Takeru let go of Riku and Riku fell on the ground. Takeru walked off to his station. We are at the park right now. We ended school about an hour ago.

"Riku, are you okay?" I asked as I got to him.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Fujiwara do this lot so no worries." Riku said and then smiled after. I nodded.

"I see the way he keeps on pushing on you..." I muttered as I stood up.

"What?"

"Huh? Ah, um nothing. " I said as I smiled.

"Now get going, Riku. Takeru is waiting for you." I said as I pushed him. Riku gave me 'huh?' face. I rolled my eyes and grabbed his wrist and ran to his station.

"Arisa? " I only smiled at Riku and kept on running. Let's say I want to run by his side but behind him as he going to be running with Takeru.

Riku POV

"Yagami, can you hear me?" I heard Sakurai called from the earpiece.

"Y-yeah, I hear you, Sakurai!" I said.

"Okay, get ready Yagami."

"Roger that!"

I turned to Arisa and she was stretching. It was like she was going to be running. Wait, is she going to be running too?

"Arisa, are you going to be running?" I asked.

"We'll see." Arisa repiled and went back on stretching. I frowned. Why? Why would she?

Arisa POV

"Ready Arisa?" I heard Nana on my earpiece. I smiled.

"Ready!" I said with a smile.

"Okay set. Arisa and Yagami! 3...2...1...GO!" Nana set us and we took off. Haha, it feel so nice. The wind is blowing so cooling. It's relaxing. But I have to focus on my task. I have to run pass Riku.

"Fujiwara set. 3...2...1...GO!"

"They're coming. Fast. Fujiwara slow down!"

"Gasp, Yagami, Arisa slow down. You're going way too fast. At any minute you'll bump into...crash.."

I stood up from the crash we had and see Riku on the ground pass out. Takeru was already up with me. Damn! My head hurts.

"Are you guys okay?" Takeru and I turned around and see Heath and the other coming. We both nodded.

"Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry. I set Takeru early. Are you guys okay?" Nana came and looked concerned.

"We're fine." I said.

We all looked over Riku and he's still passed out. A few minutes later he finally open his eyes. He widened eyes as he just recalled what happened.

"Oh my goodness, don't look at me! I messed up!" Riku covered his face with his hands.

"You did good enough, Riku. You just need to pick up your speed." I said.

"Yagami, get up. We'll going again." Takeru said and he walked off. This guy is always working hard towards the end.

Riku got up and dust himself. "Arisa, you're coming--" Takeru stopped his words and somehow he looked concerned for once. I raised my brows at Takeru.

"Arisa, you're bleeding." Nana noticed. Oh, so that's what Takeru stopped his words. I touch my head and see blood.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about me." I said with a smiled.

"Oi, Arisa! You're bleeding! Don't say your fine. You stayed out of this race and rest. " Heath sudden say.

"Yeah, I agreed with Heath too. You should rest. It's the least we need a member who gets hurts." Hozumi agreed with Heath.

"Yeah me too. We don't want you to get hurt " Ayumu say and dragged me away.

I sighed.

"Suwa!" I said as I crossed my arms.

"Suwa!?" They all shouted except for Kyōsuke who looks calm but everything. I wonder why?

"Reiji Suwa, is he your brother?" Riku asked.

"I guess you could say that." I say.

"You know we are going to be racing them next right?" Hozumi said.

"Yeah I know that." I said with a nodded.

"And you'll be running against him too. How are you going to be okay with that?" Ayumu said.

"I'll be fine since he was the one who introduced me in Stride." I said.

"Wow! I'm still wondering why you chose Honan high school instead of Saisei where your brother is." Riku said.

"I have my reasons." I said.

"C'mon Kyōsuke. Let's go. I'll be racing you first." I said and walked out the club room.

"You're really something, Arisa." Kyōsuke say. I only chuckled in response.

"I don't want them to find out my identity yet." I said.

So uh, if you noticed that I don't use, SENPAI, SAN, KUN OR something like that because it's just too much for me. Okay so uh, I've been working on this chapter since yesterday and uh I have another chapter that is already done because my dad turned off the wifi and so I got bored and worked. So yeah...
