Chapter 5: The Duel

Cotton Tiger and Steve kept on saying to have a nap. I couldn't sleep because I was worried about the duel. "What if I fail?"
"What if I die?" I thought. 

I shook my head. "No, I wouldn't die." I said bravely.

I yawned and toppled on to the bed. Then, I fell asleep.

"Wake up! It's dawn!" Cotton Tiger said.

I groaned and woke up. It was the crack of dawn. Then I remembered the duel with Herobrine. I leap out of bed. "Don't forget your satchel!" Steve shouted. 

I nodded and grabbed the satchel. Then I jumped into the hole in the middle of the stairs. "Boeing!"

I had jumped onto the trampoline. When Cotton Tiger showed me around, she showed me the trampoline and said that she used it when she was in a hurry. I slid of the trampoline and then ran out the door. I ran to the mineshaft. When I reached the entrance, I didn't see anything. I lit a torch and held it in front of me. I heard the creaking of a machine. "Creak!"

I knew Herobrine put a trap there so, I picked up an ender pearl in my satchel and threw it away from the creaking. "Swoosh!"

I had teleported straight into Herobrine. I said, "Herobrine, for the rules for this duel you can't spawn your minions, make TNT, and shoot fire charges, and teleport. Ok?"

Herobrine nodded and slid out his sword. Then we started to duel. I drank a swiftness potion, night vision potion, a jump boast potion, and a potion of strength. "Slurp!"

I could see better in the cave. It was like it was day. Because of my swiftness potion, jump boast potion, and the strength potion, I felt like I could run to the end of the world, jump into the clouds, and I felt like that I can lift our lighthouse. I pulled out my diamond sword and charged at Herobrine. "Clank!"

Our swords clashed. I was blocking Herobrine's strikes and Herobrine was blocking mines. I let out a frustrated snort. I let down my guard for a moment and Herobrine  tried to strike but I swiftly dodged. I heard Herobrine say, "Dang it!" under his breath.

I smirked. I heard the whooshing of the ender pearl behind my back. I quickly threw an ender pearl to a overhang on the cliff. "Whoosh!"

I was out of reach of Herobrine. Expect if Herobrine telported to my back....... "Ahhhhhhh!"  

Herobrine had pinned me on my back.
