Untold feelings

Law's POV
I Stare at the words in front of me, not able to finish my sentence or get my thoughts in order. My mind kept going back to her. The way she smiles at me, how her eyes light up everytime she sees me, and god how that suit fits her body nicely. I feel my face heat up and I sigh running my hand down it. She my subordinate... she probably looks to me as a brother.. I can't feel these ways but I'll be damn if I just allow someone else to be the one to protect her, she's mine!

I put my head on the table. She's not mine.. I sigh again, this girl is going to be the death of me. I look back up at the book and decide to go back to it later. I'll take a relaxing bath maybe that will get my mind off things. I went back to my room and started to run the water. I got undressed and sat in the tub. It was just past my stomach but I felt some weakness from the water. I rested my arms on the rim of the bathtub and laid my head back.

I stayed in there for a good hour or so. I got out and put on my jeans. I was going to grab my coat when I heard a knock on my door. "Captain! Bepo wants me to let you know we'll be going under soon!" "Just a moment!" I say grabbing my hoodie and walking to my door well I put it on. I get to the door and open it. When I put my hoodie on Sapphire is standing there looking at the door frame or really anywhere that wasn't me.

I chuckle at that, "so we are going under?" She nods her head yes. "Alright let's head to the control room." I say placing my hand on her shoulders leading her towards the room. "I like your tattoos.." she mumbles, I smirked at that. So she was checking out my chest, maybe I do have a shot. We reached the room and I opened the door offering her to go first. She bowed and enter and I followed after her. Bepo, Penguin and Shachi were already there. "We are ready when you are sir!" Bepo says I nod giving him the go ahead and with that we were going under.

"Everything looks clear to continue moving forward." Penguin says looking through the scope. "Woah! That's so cool! Can I take a look in it!!" Sapphire says looking at me with stars in her eyes. Damn I can't say no to that face. "I suppose you can.. but only for a minute! It isn't a toy." She nodded and Penguin stepped to the side so she could take a look through it. "Wow! This is so cool!" She said with so much excitement.

"Woah! Sapphy your back is glowing!" Shachi States out of nowhere as he stares at her back. Bepo and Penguin also look at it, I see the bluish glow hit off their faces as the got closer. "Yea it does that." She stay nonchalant like it's the most normal thing in the world. She backs off the scope and the blue light fades. "Thank you for letting me look through the scope." She says with a bow. They all blush and start swaying back and forth. "It's no problem Sapphy-chan! Anything to see you smile!" She blushed at that and I couldn't help but to feel jealous. "Alright men we'll let you go back to work."

I say walking towards the door. "Oh! Bye you guys!!" Sapphire says with a smile as she leaves the room I follow right after, but before I close the door all the way I hear Shachi say "they definitely like each other." I close the door fast and place my hoodie up. Cursing myself for leaving my hat in my room. Sapphire looks back at me confused. "Uh.. Captain?" "What?" I ask slightly annoyed. "Oh um nothing.."

That annoyed me a little more. "If you have something to say say it." "Okay.. Umm how'd you get all your tattoos?" I thought for a moment, I started walking as I place my arm around her shoulders smoothly. "I mostly got them around, some I did myself." "Yourself?!" She says/asks. I love how everything new excites her. "Yes.. why are you so interested?" She shrugged. "I guess I just havent seen much tattoos in my life.. so they hurt?" "Hmm yes and no really all depends on where you get one."

"Could I get one?" I stopped for a moment and looked at her and she looked back at me. "What would you want?" She put her hands up to her top chest and laid them there gently. "I'd like a Crescent moon right here to honor Moon Stone." I smile to that remembering why I got mine. "I'll do it." "For real?" "Of course would I lie to you?" She smiled wide and hugged me tight. "Thank you so much! You're the best captain! Can we do it now?!?" "I don't see why no-" before I could finished she was already running off "to the infirmary!" She turned back around going the opposite direction. I follow after her.

When we get there she is barely able to control her excitement. "Go lay on the bed." She nodded and go on top. "Now get ready and I'll get the stuff we'll need." she stuck her thumbs up and I went to grab what we will be needing. After I found everything I went back to Sapphire who had her jumpsuit sit at her hips, and her bra. Damn so fucking gorgeous.

She looks at me for farther instructions. "Now lay down." She lays down and I go and wipe disinfectant on the surface area. "Now this May hurt, so if you want me to just stop say so." "Okay, will do." I start, it doesn't take long. Not a hard design to do At all. "There all down, that wasn't so bad." She opens her eyes and loosen her grip on her fist. "Can I see it?" I nod my head and grab the mirror to hand to her. She stares at it for a while until tears start to form. "I love it! Thank you so much!" She set the mirror down and hugged me.

I hugged her back and kissed her forehead. I inhaled and she smelled a little fresh. "Tiffany-ya when was the last time you showered." It went quiet for a minute. "Umm let me think... I remember doing it I swear.." god this woman can't remember the simplest task sometimes. "Go shower.." She nods and heads out the door but not before giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks for taking care of me." She says with a smile then leaves. My heart started beating fast and my face heats up. I stood there for moment before running after her. "Sapphire! Zip up your suit!!"
