I was stranded on the bleachers yet again for another year

I was stranded on the bleachers yet again for another year. Whenever I'm here I usually do my homework, but surprisingly I didn't get any. So now I'm left to myself to watch Scott and Stiles embarrass themselves. I was walking to the field with Scott and Stiles. "But if you play, I'll have no one to talk to on the bench. Are you really gonna do that to your best friend?" Stiles complained. I sent a glare his way and said, "Excuse me? You have me. I'm always forced to be here, since you foolishly forgot. And I beg to differ if you think that you're Scott's best friend." Stiles shook his head. "It's not the same when it's a girl," he explained.

We got to the bleachers and put our bags down; mine a school one and the guys duffle bags. As you could tell, I'm not really into sports. It's a tradition in Beacon Hills to go to the lacrosse games. I was obviously forced.

"I can't sit out again. My whole life is sitting on the sidelines. This season, I make first line," Scott stated. "It's not that bad. I'm always stuck here but you don't hear me complaining," I said and sat on the bleachers. I turned and saw Allison and Lydia walk together onto the top of the bleachers. Allison was already under Lydia's bitch spell; there's no getting her back. Scott glanced at where I was focused but was interrupted by coach deeming that Scott as on goal.

I was internally freaking out. Scott never played goalie so why is coach making him? He's gonna suck! Stiles sat down next to me and started putting on some of the gear he didn't already have on. "Scotty's playing goal," I said. Stiles looked up and stared at me. "What?"

I held Stiles' chin and pushed his head toward Scott who was walking towards the goal. His eyes widened and he took my hand off of his face. "This isn't gonna go well."

When Scott reached the goal, he turned his head to the side and looked near the top of the bleachers. He's been doing that all day and I don't know why. I've gotten really concerned but never got the chance to ask him about it. The whistle was blown, signaling practice was starting. I paid no attention to it until Scott started to freak out, clutching his head. My eyes widened and I shook Stiles' shoulder. I was about to point to Scott, but Stiles already saw him.

I had no time to run over to him and help. The first ball was already thrown; and it hit Scott straight in the face. People around us started to laugh, even coach. I shook my head and held it in my hands. Out of everything Scott could do it's freak out and get hit in the face. Stiles had the same reaction as me, grimacing.

One thing that surprised me is Scott got up straight away.

And he caught the next ball.

I jumped up from my spot and screamed, "Oh my God! Yeah Scott!" I didn't care that I got looks from everyone in the crowd. Scott McCall, one of the worst lacrosse players ever, caught a ball. I looked over at coach and laughed at his shocked face.
