"You're The One,"

Camila heard herself say. The beautiful girl who delivered the excessive food she ordered darted her eyes to each them until they landed on herself. Those peridot eyes, a much deeper shade and more intense than Lena's, were quite mesmerizing.

And it was very familiar.

She knows she has seen them before, she just can't remember when or where exactly. It was like looking at something so brilliant, a sea of green that is so intriguing, so pulling, that she feels the urge to jump in.

Camila is aware of Lena's obsessive tendency about security. The woman was adamant about not letting strangers inside the safe house's premises. But Kara, Ally's devoted older sister, wasn't coming with the food because of some job interview. And Lena's bossiness has been pissing her off so she took the liberty of ordering a whole lot of food with the intention of making Lena pay. And to test further the older fire elemental's patience with her, Camila allowed some outsider inside the safe house despite the very strict instructions not to. Since this outsider brought too much food for her to carry alone inside and none of the other girls can be bothered to help her, Camila thought it's an excuse to allow the stranger in. Lame excuse yes, probably stupid and mostly careless, but it's perfect to get back at Lena for crawling up her ass making her irritated in the early hours of the morning.

But then a turn of events would probably make the woman thank her instead of turning her into a pile of ash. As it turns out, the stranger she allowed inside the safe house might just be the person they have been looking for. This particularly attractive outsider could be The One.

Dinah and Ally were on a pissing match, the young wind elemental showing off her skills and in turn provoking the much taller, volatile fire elemental. She tried to stop them because, one it was very annoying and two, there was a stranger in the room who had no idea of who they were and what they are capable of doing. But instead somehow things escalated, making Dinah blaze a ring of fire in the room.

The unnamed girl who brought in their food caught fire, so huge she was wrapped in a scorching blanket of of yellow and red. But as soon as the fire touched the girl's skin, burning past her bomber jacket with the diner's logo and her shirt underneath, the bubbling charred flesh from the opened third degree burns instantly closed. The girl screamed in pain but her anguish turned into shock when she saw her skin turn back into it's normal porcelain glory after such excruciating pain and disgusting open and burned flesh.

All that commotion brought in Lena and Normani from downstairs, who were reviewing some information about a crooked man, and the five of them were all shocked together until Camila broke the silence.

The unnamed girl chuckled nervously at her, running her hand through her thick dark hair, a gesture she found quite sexy, "Ha ha... You're very pretty but I don't think I'm the one for you,"

Instantly, Camila felt her cheeks flush at the girl's insinuation and felt the urge to say something really quickly to redeem herself. She wasn't prepared for that kind of retort. No not at all.

"Oh! N-no, no, not that that t-the one... I meant you're The One. N-not, not the one for me per se, but 'the one', you know The One-" she exasperatedly turned to Lena who was standing next to Normani, both still in shock. "Lena just explain, will you?! A-and, and pay for the food too..."

She doesn't get easily fazed by people. But somehow, this stranger was making her nervous. The stuttering kind of nervous. She does not stutter, she is always articulate.
