When I finished helping my dad move everything into the UHAUL truck we decided to go out to eat some Tacos. It was only 12:30 and our flight didn't leave until 6 so we had a good 3 hours before we had to start heading over to the airport. Dad drove in his black convertible (pretty cool, right?) to a small shopping center 10 minutes away from my officially old house. On our way over there, he was talking about how exciting it was to going to live in Cali, and how we'll do a lot of tourist things like hike and take tours. The idea of it sounded cool, but out of the 12 years I've lived with my dad, ( mind you I'm almost 16) making plans with him almost never worked. He always just had the ideas.

"Skye just imagine us hiking through the woods, seeing the Wild life! Isn't that beautiful? You love wild life come on!" And it was true. I spent the majority of my time walking around places just admiring nature, I guess that's why my name is Skye. But actually that's not even my real name. It's Abigail, but dad has always called me by my middle name: Skye. As always, I agreed with him with a "yeah dad that sounds awesome!" Or a " I can't wait, I'm so excited!" But I always could wait, because like I said before, my dad and plans never work out. We arrived at our destination "everything taco". It was a cheesy name, but it was true. They only sold tacos, and In every shape and form too. I had the party taco, and my dad made his own taco like at subway, except tacos. By the time we started eating our food it was 12:56. We still had a lot of time to spare. So we ate. With a mouthful of

sour cream and shredded lettuce my dad began his speech. I know this whole speech by heart, he starts off by saying that moving is only going to bring us closer together, we're going to have a nice house, and I'm going to be little mrs.popular (which I never really was) and we were going to have the best time of our life. I've heard it eight times, the only true thing about that speech is that I have more places to shop for cute clothing. Which wasn't that bad, I loved shopping just like the next girl in line. I just kind of hoped one day we could stay someplace for good. Just have a stable house, stable friends, stable everything. Maybe like that I'd be able to hold down a boyfriend. I've only had 2 boyfriends and the first one was those elementary type of relationships that don't even count, and the second one lasted 7 months. 4 months was a long distance relationship type of deal, but then he broke it off. I get it. Whatever.
