Clark and Diana 3

A Bizarre Twist

(Superman left Bruce with the League for the evening as he went for a flight around Metropolis to clear his head, Diana hadn't been seen anywhere all afternoon and he was very worried about her, she had been upset before but he had always managed to calm her down before, he didn't know what to do, was life with her and Bruce enough without Superman? Being Superman had been an uphill battle from the beginning and now he had finally accomplished what his father always wanted for him, he had made the choice to stand proud in front of the human race and he was finally accepted and appreciated, he loved Diana and Bruce with all his heart but he couldn't just quit being Superman, it defined him and gave him a purpose, suddenly all the big screens around the city switched to a video)

Lex: "Clarky! Mm! I've got your old flame here!" (Lois Lane was tied to a chair)

Clark: "Lois.."

Lex: "If you want to see her alive then follow the sound of my voice. Shouldn't be too hard. For I will keep jibber jabbing until.."

(Superman broke through the door to Lex's location)

Lex: "Mm! Faster than I predicted."

Superman: "Let her go now!"

Lex: "Ah the classics!"

(Superman took an angry step toward Lex)

Lex: "Mmm mmm! Not another step! Or Miss Lane gets it!" (He presses a gun to her neck)

Superman: "Get away from her now!"

Lex: "Mm boy have I got a twist for you!" (Lois twisted out of the ropes)

Clark: "Lois? What are..?"

Lois: "Surprised? Just thought I'd forget everything huh?"

Clark: "What is this? What happened to you?"

Lois: "You know damn well what happened to me Clark. You did! If it wasn't for you my life would be just fine but you destroyed it. You stole my heart, and then broke it into a thousand pieces! You were supposed to choose me! Not that stupid princess!"

Clark: "Lois..this isn't you. You're a good woman. Lex is controlling you somehow isn't he?"

Lois: "Actually it was my idea to crash your stupid little wedding. Ruin little miss perfect's day for a change. I knew they'd never be able to kill you but just seeing your wedding trashed was enough to satisfy me."

Clark: "What? You're working with them? Criminals?"

(Lois shrugged) "A means to an end. Someone had to do the dirty work and obviously I'm not stupid enough to try it myself."

Clark: "Lois...this is wrong. You can't be.."

Lois: "It's just like you told me. Remember?... No one stays good in this world. I don't need you anymore Clark. I have my own Superman right here."

(Bizarro stepped out and Lois kissed him much to Clark's disgust)

Clark: "Lois..? What even is he? A clone?"

Lois: "Pretty bizarre right?  Luthor's been experimenting. A perfect clone. And you wanna hear a secret? He's way better in bed than you."

(Clark yelled and was about to attack Bizarro when Diana burst through the ceiling and kicked Bizarro hard)

(Ancient lamentation intensifies)

Lois: "Ugh you bitch!" (Diana backhanded Lois into the wall)

Clark: "Diana! You're back!"

(Diana hugged him)

Diana: "I'm so sorry Clark. I should never have left. When this is over we have much to talk about."

Clark: "I'm just glad you're here."

(They shared a smile and faced Bizarro who screamed and fought them both, together Superman and Wonder Woman gave Bizarro a severe ass kicking and left him an unconscious mess on the floor)

Clark: "I sincerely hope I'm not that ugly."

Diana: "The rest of the League is outside taking care of the other villains."

Clark: "Good. Now we just need to figure out what to do with.."

Lois: "Me? Aw how sweet of you but I have a better idea!"
