Chapter 8

RONNIE'S POV

I sat in the hospital, right next to his bed for an hour, just wanting him to wake up. We cancelled the show for tonight, telling the fans it was due to medical problems and that everyone is fine. The guys went back to the bus which was in the hospital parking lot.

"Ryan, please wake up, I need you." I cried. I felt him squeeze my hand and my head shot up as I saw his eyes flutter open.

"Ryan!" I cried.

"R-Ronnie." He stuttered.

"I'm right here." I said, pushing the hair out of his face.

"W-Why didn't you let me die?"

"Ryan." I managed to say. Who knew six little words could hurt me so much. "You're too important to die. You need to stay for the band and for thefans and for me. I love you Ryan and I don't want to lose you."

"I want to die Ronnie." He said, trying to rip his IV out.

"Ryan! Stop!" He went flat on the bed and kicked his legs, tears pouring out of his eyes.

"I can't do this anymore Ronnie." He cried.

"Ryan, I looked through your phone. Why didn't you tell me the tweets had gotten that bad?"

"I didn't want you to worry about me."

"Well, now I'm beyond worried about you Ryan!" I exclaimed and he just stayed silent. "I'm calling a nurse." Ronnie said and pressed the button. A few nurses rushed in and I stepped away, allowing them to check his vitals. The doctor came in and double checked Ryan.

"You are a very lucky man Mr. Seaman. If you were not found when you were, you wouldn't be alive." The doctor smiled at both of us before leaving.

"What about the show!" Ryan gasped.

"We cancelled it for tonight. You are in no condition to perform tonight." I said, sitting down next to him. "Look, Ryan, I've been thinking. I definitely don't want to break up, but I think we should pretend break up."

"Pretend?"

"Yeah, we can tell the fans it was a joke and that we're straight. But, we can still date on the bus."

"I like that." Ryan smiled.

"I hoped you would." I said, kissing his lips. I called the guys in and they got here in about five minutes.

"Ryan!" They exclaimed as they walked in.

"Hey guys." Ryan said. We told them our plan and they agreed.
