  Six Hours Later

 Darling's POV

I opened my eyes to see the beautiful full moon shining through the window of the car, as the trees and forest passed by the window I began to feel something moving from underneath me. Lifting my head I realized that Chase had pulled me onto his chest and he still sound asleep lying beneath me. I laughed softly and unwrapped his arms from my waist. I slowly sat up and rubbed my eyes. I looked down at the white and light blue dress I was still wearing from earlier and sighed.

We're actually married! I thought to myself looking at the ring he had picked out for me. I can't believe this is actually happening! Chase and I are family now! I'm a Redford... Oh my God. I'm a Redford.

"Dar? Are you ok?" I heard Chase ask from behind me.

"I'm fine, my legs just hurt from sitting so long." I lied hoping he would leave the subject alone.

"How long have you been awake for?" He questioned wrapping his arms around my waist.

"A few minutes, 20 at most." I said trying shake the tearing thoughts that were racing in my mind.

"Ok, now what are you really thinking about?" He said turning me slightly to look into my eyes.

 "Nothing, I'm fine."

"No, your not. Dar please, did I do something? Are you hurt?" Questioned Chase taking my hands and looking at me worriedly.

"Chase, I'm fine now you please just drop it!" I yelled pulling my hands away from his and turning away. We sat in silence for a few moments until Chase sighed and slid off the seat to kneel in front of me.

"Is there something I can do to ease your mind? All I'm trying to do is help you Dar. I don't wanna hurt you or try and offend you, I just wanna help and be here for you." Chase whispered taking my hands as my eyes started to blur with tears.

I just sat there for a few moments letting him rub calming circles on the back of my hands. After a few minutes I couldn't hold back the sobs threatening their way out. Slowly I slide down onto the ground and let his arms elope me in a comforting hug.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you, I just... I just..." I sobbed as he shh'ed me and told me everything was going to be ok. By the time we reached the beach I was calmed down and Chase was pulling me into his lap while still sitting on the floor.

"Better?" He questioned as he wiped the tears off my cheek. All I could do was nod and lift my head from his shoulder. "Now do you wanna tell me what you were thinking about?"

"I... I was just... I was just thinking about how now that we're married I gonna have to take your last name and I know how much your family hates the idea of us dating let alone being married to one another!" I said my voice still hoarse from sobbing.

"Dar. You know none of that's true now.  Lizzie loves the idea of you being a Redford. My parents will grow to idea as time goes by."

"And what if they don't!? Are we just supposed to sit around and wait for the day when they say 'Welcome to the Family Darling, We really love the whole idea of you being our daughter-in-law now.' What if that day never comes, Chase!? What if..." I began to ramble only to be cut off by another round of sobs coming up my throat.

We sat in silence for a few moments and then Chase spoke up. "Maybe this was a bit rushed."

"What do you mean?" I said looking at him.
