EPILOGUE

EPILOGUE – NOW

Twenty years on and my life is perfect.  All my family are still with me, even Charlie and Sue. I even have three younger biological siblings.  Two are girls, who are Charlie and Sue’s kids and I have a little brother from Renee and Phil too.

Ella, who is now twenty, is the oldest out of them all.  She works at Mike’s outdoor goods shop.  He took over after his parents died young in a terrible car crash.  He is forty now. Ella has a lovely and kind husband called Lewis. They only just got married a few weeks ago.

Charlie and Sue’s other child is called Cleo.  She is eighteen, and has just graduated.  She has a sweet and gentle boyfriend called Will.  They are childhood sweethearts.

My brother, Renee and Phil’s son, is called Jack.  He is so cute and cuddly, even though he is sixteen.  He is just like Phil about baseball, but I think he could become a professional rather than just minor league.

My beautiful daughter Renesmee is all grown up now.  She has stopped at the age of a beautiful eighteen year-old woman and she is gorgeous.

She is married to Jacob.  They got married three years ago.  I gave her my dress to wear and handed down the blue hair clips that Charlie had given me many years ago for my wedding.

It was a magical wedding arranged by Alice obviously.  But this time I helped with the decorations, the cooking and everything. I wanted Renesmee to have a wedding as good as mine.

Also, there was a big shock last year.  Renesmee became pregnant with Jacob’s child.  But it wasn’t like my pregnancy, or the short one she almost had twenty years ago.  It was nowhere near as fast as that, but it was three months faster than a normal human pregnancy.  Instead of nine months it was six months, and the baby inside her didn’t break any of her bones.  I don’t know what I would have done if she had a pregnancy like mine.

The baby was born a beautiful healthy little girl. Renesmee had copied my style by combining two names and called the girl Edwella.  It was such a beautiful name and she is a one of a kind baby.  She is one third vampire, one third werewolf and one third human.  We were expecting that as soon as Renesmee became pregnant.

Edwella had carried on my chocolate brown eyes and rosy cheeks off Renesmee, and Edward’s smile, but had also carried on Jacob’s hair and skin colour.  She had carried on all of our strength, so she was the strongest person on this planet.

She was growing a little bit faster than a normal human baby, but not like her mother had.  She would also freeze at the age of eighteen as two thirds of her was frozen in time.

Alice was right about the bouquets at Charlie and Sue’s wedding.  Billy and Amillissa got married five years later then it was Renesmee.  It was strange because almost all of my family were married now.

Our agreement with the remaining Volturi was going well. They had got some more members to live with them in Italy, such as one called George, who could send messages through people’s minds, like Edward and Renesmee’s gifts put together as one.  Everyone had heard about Caius, Jane, Alec, Felix, Abree and Renata, but they didn’t know the full story. 

I liked the agreement better than I thought I ever would.  I liked the thought of being the most powerful family in the world.  I loved to catch people for committing crimes.  I felt like Charlie.  I never thought his job could be so fun.

Every holiday we take, we go to visit the Amazons.  Joham and Huilen are engaged, and Táchira is much more confident.  Renesmee and Táchira and Sareeca are the best of friends. 

Leah has started working in the Quileute bookstore in Port Angeles where I had went one night.  That night was very eventful.  First I got herded by four drunk men, had dinner with Edward and found out he was a vampire.  But the old woman that had owned the store had passed away, so Leah has took over.

Seth is working in a garage up at Hoquiam.  I remembered going there once with Jacob to buy parts for the motorbikes.  But now Seth worked in a garage, and would run there every day.  He was so much like a younger Jacob.

Sam and Emily also have a little baby boy.  His name is Harry and he was just like his father.  He was strongly built and tall, yet he had Emily’s face.  Claire is all grown up and a beautiful woman, but she is still with Quil.

Paul and Rachel are married now, and Jared and Kim are too.  They all still live in La Push.  They feel it is their duty to stay there.  Jess and Mike have been on and off for years, but have finally decided to stay together, and they are engaged.  Angela and Ben are happily married and have two kids, one boy and one girl.  Angela works as a teacher, and Ben is a film producer.

I’ve lived through a lot in my lifetime, and I wouldn’t change one thing about it.  Well, maybe the part when Edward left me, and I was depressed for four months until I started hanging out with Jake.  But that would be the only thing.  I loved my life, and I had forever to live it.

And I almost forgot.  Edward and I beat Rosalie and Emmet’s record for the longest to be physically in love.  It had been over twenty years since we first started, and we hadn’t stopped yet.  Another reason why my life is perfect.
